Extremely pleased with all aspects of our visit. Very good attentive service. Pleased with the food quality as well as the selection. The food was very tasteful and was hot. A good balance between seafood and the rest of the buffet. The BBQ tasted great with a good selection of items, which included crab legs and roast beef roast Overall we were totally satisfied. The place was clean, including the washroom. We will return. Prices are in line with the quality of food

We went on a Tuesday evening, our server was super friendly and attentive. However, I'm wondering if much of the food is actually made there.... I can tell that the whole desert section is brought in frozen. Even the rice pudding tastes like it's from a can. Kings used to be a great buffet... there used to be crab and big fresh cooked roasts, even the manager used to come to your table and offer you filet mignon. The three of us cost me just around $100 with no alcoholic beverages. There's better value, freshly made, comparably priced, dining experiences out there. I for one, will leave kings behind me, and venture on.

We went for lunch buffet. The taste of food was great but the items offered in the hot main dish area were limited and lots of fried food. They had sushi and soups along with a small serving of pizza and salads for non Chinese food lovers. Overall, I would say this place is worth visiting, especially with the price they offered. Best part was that the staff were very friendly and attentive. They threw in a joke or two.

I got dragged here kicking & screaming as I'm not a buffet fan at all. I've been to a few decent buffets though. This isn't one of them. Our greeting and what little service is required from a buffet was very good. The food, on the other hand, is simply not very good at all. I saw that some people seemed to enjoy filling up their plates....again & again but I prefer quality over quantity.

This is the best buffet in Brantford I think. They are so friendly, and everyone seems so happy. I went here for lunch on Sunday March 4th 2018, the price was $16.99 plus taxes. The food was very good, I am looking forward to coming back to this resturtant.

King's Buffet when it first opened was fit for a King. Nowadays, not so much. I heard it had gone through several management changes and the quality has dropped. We decided to give it a try to see for ourselves. It was very disappointing. The quality of the food was subpar and selections lacking in variation. A lot of the food was barely stocked and we were there around 1:15pm. I have a suspicion some of the food was reused/reheated because the seaweed salad had gone bad. We did complain to the server about the salad and immediately it was replaced with a fresh one. I'd avoid the pizza as they can't make one properly. The desserts behind the glass counter requires service, which I don't understand why they chose such method. I saw a woman standing at that dessert counter waiting for at least 5 minutes and then she finally gave up because no one served her. The food is bad, but what about the soft drinks? Well, unfortunately, the soft drinks was watered down so much it noticable. To top off the horrible experience, our table had a couple of ants crawling on it! Overall, I cannot recommend King's Buffet. For several more dollars it's better to go to Mandarin. Our table had great service. I feel bad for the staff, but when you come to a buffet - you come for the food, not the service. Hopefully, management focuses on freshness, quality, and selection; otherwise I can't see this place lasting much longer.

I decided to try King's Buffet out, after reading some reviews that were favorable (also, I couldn't decide on a Chinese restaurant). I can only give 3 stars because it's simply mediocre. Not bad, but not great. As an example, I had the basa filet. Its described as in garlic and butter. Its actually sitting in water, poached. It was still fine, just not as described. Many other foods were like this as well. The shrimp and vegetables are shrimp with onions and carrots, an odd combination. You would expect snow peas or broccoli. The wings were very small with only the batter to beef up their appearance. Be aware going in, these dishes aren't premium, they just are......budget oriented. That being said; the food is refreshed frequently. The wait staff was very efficient and courteous. I can't honestly say it's on par with Mandarin....it's not. In my opinion, for a few dollars more and a 30 minute drive, the latter would be a better choice. However, if you don't feel like doing that, and you need a Chinese buffet meal, King's could fit your bill. Just be aware going in.

As you can see by the recent picture the place is closed up and shut down even though the sign is still on the road Not sure how somebody can rate this 3 days ago as being edible
