J	Jennifer Berry on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room was very clean and had a good night sleep Front desk staff friendly and very quick with check-in. Restaurant on site and food was great. Plenty of parking available. Was told bar had made some changes recently was very relaxing. Definitely will recommend.

M	Michael Turner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall the KingFisher Inn is not my top recommend place to stay. Though before I get to my criticisms, i want to stay the staff was fantastic and accommodating. I saw In other posts, that there were complaints about staff... I think since new management it has been doing better in that aspect. Though, the rooms are heavily dated, and smell slightly musty. The beds are okay, but certainly not top quality. The rooms are very dark with little lighting available. The keys (legit, metal keys) to the rooms often get stuck in the keyway and it makes it very hard to enter your room. The walls are paper thin and you can hear almost everything in the rooms around you. Overall it's not my first choice... Or even second. But I don't want to give a shoutout to the late night lady (she worked oct.26 2020 at around 6pm) she was fantastic and said it was only a few weeks in. Keep up the great work. To the owners, I'd highly recommend updating your rooms. I don't think you call yourself a luxury hotel when the canalta in Melfort is a 2 star hotel but looks 5x better then what is happening here.
T	Toan Andre on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent value. You save a fair bit with little compromise compared to a new hotel - in my opinion it is well worth it. While the hotel is a bit out of date (furniture mainly) it has undergone extensive renovations and updates (flooring, windows, bathroom fixtures, bedding) which is very nice to see, many hotels at (or above) this price range need a lot more work (I wont mention names but they're in Melfort..). The room we stayed in (walkout) was very quiet due to the cinderblock interior wall dividing units. The room was clean and the A/C blew cold, however I had trouble connecting to the wifi. The attached resturant is also super convenient (also recently entirely renovated) and very good value. The food was better than average and pricing was excellent - something seldomly said about resturants. All the staff I encountered were very polite and professional. It is clear this hotel is well managed; I will certainly revisit again.

You can even order food in there in the evenings… yummy, fantastic meals or even lite snack. Oh my and the new VLT machines…. You just have to come and see it for yourself, it’s an amazing place to meet up with friends, it’s a comfortable space weither you are young or young at heart… it’s just one of those places that make you feel like you are in the right place…. No matter what your age is..you will love the fun relaxed atmosphere!! ❤️❤️❤️

W	Wesley Wolfe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for 2 nights in an area that had 4 rooms with outside entry & parking, both nights people were partying in the rooms next to me until 2 AM or later, no one was working at the front desk for both the nights I stayed so nothing could be done about these people, I will never stay there again, very unprofessional to have an unstaffed hotel, rooms are also very old & has very old bedding.
