My DISCONTINUED K C G 6500 GE with electric start only puts out 100 volts. I find that hard to believe considering the size of this unit. Plus , every time I start it , I have to tap the starter to get it to crank the engine. This has been a problem however minor since new. NOT HAPPY with king Canada. Save your money and buy a GOOD QUALITY GENERATOR

Bought a router table and helical jointer from King recently. The products look ok, but some defective parts i had to replace with my own $$$ (cast iron table top). Couldn't deal with their support or partsorders email alias, i only ever got one line emails back from them: me: I haven't heard anything on this. Is this shipped ? if so, can i can get tracking number please ? them: "We sent you a switch" I would expect a little more after shelling out over 2 grand on their products. I could have easily bought the Kreg router table and Rikon jointer i was also looking at. They need 2 things to improve; 1. better support, a few things that could have helped me is a phone support to talk to someone opposed to talking over facebook chat (send a message, wait a day). and 2. more polite email responses from their partsorders@ email alias, i gave up on this ! (see above corespondance).

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2 nd 2020 No one contacted me from King canada or JC CAYER to replace my brand new DEFECTIVE KING CANADA PORTABLE TABLE SAW that i had one month, and it s been in the shop for 6 months, king canada cant tell when the new motor is coming. Just give me back my money and keep the substandard tool. I did not but it to put in permanent storage at the tool store!!!!!! So, KING CANADA, you are lying . Contact me at five 6 two 5 three 5 five at g mail dot com if you want this bad review fixed . I suspect you are just blowing hot air. Dont buy king canada tools Bought a new tablesaw and the motor smoked up and stopped one month later. Returned it to jc cayer in limoges ontario for warranty repair . The guy in the service dept called king canada a few times only to be told that they have no idea when they will ship the motor. Maybe 2-3 more months. KING CANADA HAS ZERO SERVICE CAPABILITY. its probably a retiree working one day a month, it s been there 6 months, and they cant tell when i am getting it back, dont but that junk, pay more for good quality . I hate king canada. Warranty will expire and the stupid saw will still not be repaired. About the response that i will be contacted by the store for a replacement , i WILL BELIEVE IT WHEN I SEE IT. Nothing has happenned since march. JC Cayer diagnosed a bearing in the motor was bad, motor was done, been waiting ever since. The service tech cannot get a straight answer from King Canada when he calls there. To be continued Update august 25. The response from king canada saying i would hear from jc cayer in limoges ontario to offer me a replacement was just an empty online promise. JC Cayer has not heard from King Canada or any representative of them. I wonder if this response came directly from Howard Richman, president and ceo of king canada for 30 plus years, i doubt that he cares at all. He does not care. Maybe it came from vice president of 20 years Ted Fuller, or vice president of 4 years Peter Kennedy. But i am betting it came from the office clerk. KING CANADA, prove me wrong and i will retract all of this. Email me : five six two five three five five at g mail dot com. No worries, i will not hold my breath. I am shopping for another table saw.

Unfortunately this is the route I've been forced to take. I have followed the recommended process for repair on my KC-1632DS open end drum sander. The repair shop in my area had decided it was beyond their capabilities of fixing. I was then instructed to send the unit to King Canada directly after multiple back and forth emails trying to send pictures and videos of the issue. I was given Zero updates on if they received it or what (if any) work was being done on it. It was shipped back with a note saying it was "worked on" for 2 hours, however no specifics on what work was apparently done. With high hopes I brought it home to my shop and low and behold the same issue is still happening. I have been in contact with a sales rep not only with King but also where I purchased the unit from and I am still without a proper working unit. This has been ongoing since the beginning of February. King Canada has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced!

I just purchased my third King Canada product. The most recent product was a dust collector. The instructions for assembling it were terrible. There is no listing of hardware and that would have helped becuase I was shorted 14 bolts. After a week they still have not confirmed with my distributor about getting me the bolts. In fact my last conversation with the distributor today they said that "King Canada cant even figure out what bolts they are" to replace them. Be wary of thier dust collectors. My King Canada table saw and band saw are great products. It's just the service that is terrible.

I bought a used Torq saw company is no longer in business, I needed a blade bolt, and washer. Their parts department was amazing, they were able to match up a king saw bolt and washer, which I was able to modify for my saw. They even shipped me the parts for free, I am very happy!! On a side note I used a king band saw professionally for years, never had any issue, good quality product, and the support is top notch.

My King Canada story is a positive one. Dealing with my 7th day of no power from last Saturdays storm. My generator a 10,000 watt King Canada starting shaking and making all kinds of funny noise and power was interrupting all the time. After a 90 minute drive down from the Laurentiens I met Grant and Steve. They were awesome from the time I got there till the time I left. However,the real star of the day was Garry the mechanic that serviced my generator. True professionals from the entire team. I recommend them all the way and thanks again.
