Ken looks after himself, not his sellers. On Aug 26, I retained Ken (Katrina & The Team - RE/MAX 2000) to list my property for sale, and just upon signing the agreement, *First red flag* he pitched me the doom and gloom in the market and lowered my original asking price below everyone else (after assessing the local comparables). *Second big reg flag* On that date and till today Sep 2, his REAL ESTATE LICENCE is INVALID and not valid with REMAX or real estate board website. *Third red flag* Once the listing was published a few days later, I noticed much of the key selling points of the property like improvements, updates, and the big crawlspace were missing from the listing. (These are easily found on record of the previous listing of the property) Upon assessing the listing and current comparables in the local market, I contacted Ken again to add back the features of the property, and to raise the asking price back to market value. He then comes back with a rant about how you can't "prove" the improvements to prospective buyers even though anyone with normal vision can see and touch all the updates that were not originally from the 1970s. (Brand new breaker panels and plugs, new ethernet/cable/phone plugs, updated hot water tank, laminated flooring, etc...) Using this he tried to support his unwillingness to raise the asking price back to market value, telling me he's received numerous clients asking for the property in a short time. That means WE'RE LEAVING MONEY ON THE TABLE when the offer is too low... or Ken just wants to make a quick sale at the expense of the seller, he is not on your side, and definitely not in your interest.

We used ken to buy our first home and sell it years later. He was patient when we bought and helped keep resale in mind. When we sold, his pricing and tactics were bang on, getting us what we wanted in a timely manner. He was even helpful when buying our new place even though we didn't use him as our realtor because we were moving out of town. Hes very knowledgeable and helpful.
