I've been working on renovations with my husband on our house for three months when we were beginning to experience a bit of burn-out, so I opted to look for a place that I could order and get flooring installed for us. When I showed up to Kawartha Flooring in Lakefield, Steve was super helpful as well as Nick (Nick runs the Marmora store but he was in Lakefield helping out Steve for the day).
When our renovations ended up with hiccups, both Steve and Nick were incredibly accommodating in helping me book when their installers could come in. When they found out that my drywaller had ghosted, they even had a referral for me and connected me with one of their flooring installers. Randy ended up doing both our drywall AND our flooring installation--amazing!
I highly recommend going to their store. I bought luxury vinyl flooring 8 mm thick for our guest room and office, and carpet for our master bedroom. Prices were great, and the carpet is even their own manufacturing!
We will definitely be working with Steve again when we continue renovations in the near future.
