B	Blake Corkill on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped on my way home from Bancroft today and the wait (only about 10-15 mins) was well worth it! Excellent buttertarts and baked goods. Brought home 6 each of raisin and maple bacon and loving each of them!
S	Stephanie Lanigan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOW! I went to the Lansdowne location for the first time and was greeted with some fabulous friendly staff. The cream filled donuts were to die for! I also took home several different buttertart flavours and various fritters. They were all superb. I am new to the area and I can't wait to bring all my visitors to the shop to try more yummy treats and get my hands on more of those cream filled donuts.

I scooped out the filling and ate the pastry and topping. I didnt want to waste it. This is the second time I tried them, and both times the filling was not good, and this was the outcome. I also bought a apple crumble pie. Which I am going to try tonight. Hopefully you change the butter tart filling.

Lack of good photos is directly related to how eager we were to test them out. I was looking forward to the coffee crisp version the most and was surprised by how good the chocolate raspberry was.
S	Susan Downey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Smells like heaven when you walk in. Butter tarts with raisins were my choice. Pastry will melt in your mouth. Also picked up some "personal" size pizzas, some locally made jam and half a strawberry rhubarb pie. I will be back. Everything exceptional.
M	Miguel Best on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have quite a large selection of Buttertart variations! I picked up plain, pecan and maple bacon! I have yet to try those but they look fantastic! I did however grab a couple of the famous apple fritters I was told to get! In my opinion they were good but maybe a touch over done. Very dark and taisted that way. That being said, they were fluffy and had large chunks of apples which was delicious! They also had a frozen section that held various dishes and Gluten-Free options in a fridge! They had a whole pie section with both full and half pies for sale. Aswell as fresh baked bread and cinnamon rolls with frosting and maple topping aswell. A small but efficient place with quite a variety!

Fantastic butter tarts: buttery laminated layers of delicious delights! The filling is crispy and crunchy at the top and oh so ooey gooey yummy in the centre!! Yeaaaa!! ? The mini tarts are wonderful bite sized treats, but you definitely need to the big tarts. ? The have pies, bread, cinnamon buns, Chelsea buns, garlic cheese bread sticks, pizza sticks, ice cream, sausage rolls...and more! Small little shop and worth the stop on you way up or down Hwy 28!
h	heather mcleod on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best fritters I’ve ever had. They were also doing donuts filled with real whipped cream. Sensational. Delicious pastry wrapped sausages too. My only issue is with the hours of operation. As cottages in the Bancroft area, we typically head up after work on Friday and head home late afternoon on Sunday. They used to have better hours but it seems to have changed. Since they close at 4pm on Friday and are not open on Sunday at all, we rarely get to enjoy the wonderful pastries. ? We are hoping this might change for the summer months. ?
