Hi there......
I am a farm girl from Saskatchewan who lived in the West Indies for several years. I currently reside in Saskatoon.
Prior to becoming a Therapist, I worked as a Dental Assistant.
It was during my years of working with people in that context that
I recognized my desire to be involved with people at much deeper level. So, I returned to school to equip myself for this work.
I believe that the therapeutic process is a collaborative endeavour between myself and my clients. I seek to pay attention to the
individual's thoughts and emotions as well as the significant
shaping events and influences in his/her life. I strongly believe that healing takes place in community and therefore encourage my clients towards openness and vulnerability with themselves and with others.
I am married and have two adult sons.
I enjoy travelling, kayaking, reading, and taking photos.
