The Kantorei Choral Society is a non-profit organization providing financial and strategic support for Mount Royal Kantorei.
Kantorei Choral Society recognizes that we are situated in an ancient and storied place within the hereditary lands of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Îyârhe Nakoda, Tsuut'ina and Métis Nations. This land is steeped in ceremony and history that, until recently, was used and occupied exclusively by peoples indigenous to this place. We endeavour to recognize this reality at our meetings, concerts, and in our daily lives. We recognize that this practice of recognition is only a first step and not an end to recognizing the power and influence of settler-colonialism.
