K&S came in and took care of everything to fix the problem; design, permits, inspections, engineering, dealing with all of the subs. They replaced the foundation for the column, the front steps and all of the old brick. As with any renovation of an older structure, there were surprises lurking below the surface. Steve took care of the unexpected quite capably without getting ruffled. He knew exactly how to handle it all. Everything right down to the paperwork was handled smoothly and professionally. I can fully recommend K&S Contracting.

K&S recently completed a 24X24 garage and a basement finishing project for us, shortly after we moved into our new home. We were on a tight timeline and the crew was able to complete the project well before the deadline. Most importantly, they provide quality and very professional service. So much attention to detail was put into all aspects of the project. Communication with Steve, Colton, Karen, Dan and the rest of the crew throughout the project was also exceptional. We are now able to enjoy and utilize our basement to its full potential and we love our garage for the cold winters and extra storage! 5 stars from me!

Steve explained in detail what the entire repair process would require. We were very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. K&S looked after everything, permits, engineering, electrical, plumbing, welding, structural repairs, spray foam insulation, flooring, dry walling and painting. The K&S crew and their sub-contractors were all great. They kept us well informed of their work activities and schedule. These guys come to work, they’re there to get the job done and they do it right. They were all excellent tradesmen. While working they always took steps to contain dust and debris to the work area as much as possible and cleaned up before leaving each day. The completed work looks great and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Best of all is the peace of mind knowing it was all engineered, built and inspected properly. Thanks K&S Contracting for a top notch job, we highly recommend you guys.

No problem for these guys. Took them 2-3 guys and 2 days and the job was done. We are excited to use our backyard more. Thanks K&S looking forward to working with you on our re shingle job soon. Update: shingles were done last spring and was completed quickly and professionally. 2022 update: Had a bathroom ceiling leak through drywall from a frozen vent pipe. Steve and the crew figured out what was wrong and repaired it. It looks like nothing was ever done in the bathroom. Thanks K&S

They deleted my earlier review to keep their 5 star rating. Also they damaged my neighbours fence when working on my backyard.

Fair and transparent costing, and provided suggestions for more cost effective solutions. Work done was high quality, and in a relatively timely manner considering current supply chain issues. We hired K&S to reinforce and repair the foundation walls in our 100-year-old basement, as well as turn the basement from unfinished to a finished space. They also found and fixed some of the other issues caused by previous poor repair jobs. Their finished work looks amazing and we're glad we had the chance to work with them.

Once we were quoted the price and we accepted it, work began less than 5 days later. All the work was done very professionally and efficiently. We were impressed with the prompt service and are very happy with the finished product. There was some urgency to the job in order to not damage the existing house roof and we were appreciative of Steve responding to us in a timely manner. We would definitely use K&S again and would recommend them and would not hesitate to use them in the future.
