★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's been about 13 years since I last stepped foot in this Jug City and, much to my surprise, most of the store felt gutted.
Gone were the rows of snacks, sugary sweets and other goodies that I remembered. The magazine rack and Slushie machine were also nowhere in sight and it seems the back end of the store was converted into a St. Jimmy's coffee shop.
Maybe I just happened to set foot inside during renovations. Maybe the gutted look is a sign of things to come.
