★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am an International student and I got their policy from my college, i have heard alot that insurance companies don't do help that much to the students but honestly this is the great experience I had with them. Especially I would like to say thanks to one of their crew member Rina, she is so helpful and polite. Though, she cleared my all doubts regarding the policy. Sometimes I tried to connect this group to get help in pandemic they were awesome at that cruicial period of time, they replied me on time and I don't get any trouble.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had great experience with JF insurance,both my parents insured with this company.Great services,always had following phone calls regards any opened claim, and they gave very professional advice. Super efficiently staff, I would like to emphasis,Molly,who was the claim rep,always answering my question on time and showing me the claim step by step,very detailed and organised. Very happy with this company ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi, I really don't recommend having this "insurance"
First of all, I had an insurance with them as student, and while my insurance was active I had an emergency surgery that costs me around 5000$ CAD.
Before I went to the hospital, I called the Insurance to check which hospital I can go and by that the process will be easier. They told me to go ANY hospital, no matter what.
For my surprise, the hospital I went, they don't have a direct transaction with JF Insurance, so the bill went to me a student that has to pay 5k dollars.
I put filled up the Claim Form in order to pay those 5k by using my insurance. And after 1 YEAR I managed my self to find how i can check if they paid or not (yeah, because they don't give you a follow up)
No follow up, they don't give the right information, and they don't pay for your hospital needs

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible. I purchased a visitor insurance and the broker didn't mention anything regarding the waiting period. He promised we can use it once we're insured. Very unprofessional and waste of both time and money. Be extremely careful or just stay away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother has this compagnie for 2 years… she claimed once… the next thing you know they don’t want to cover you anymore !! Why do we pay you for?? It’s specially for moments we need to be reimbursed! They only want your money!! Stay away!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ my mother was accidently got emergency visit and large medical expense last year. Our family was very stressful both mentally and financially. Luckily, we purchased emergency insurance from JF insurance. There was some miscommunication between us and doctor due to language barriers. So initially our claim was declined. Molly Roy at Ontime care suggested me to go for appeal. Then I was able to connect with William Fei at appeal committee. He was very helpful and was very patient to understand our situation. He guided me how to find more evidence to prove the real situation. Every time I contacted with either Molly or William, they always very patient and reply to my concerns quickly. We are very lucky, and got fully reimbursement for the claim. I would definitely recommend my friends to go with JF insurance in the future. the company is very trustworthy, and the people are very friendly and supportive, and sympathy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible, terrible! don’t buy any insurance from this company because you will realize you pay for nothing in return. I wish I could give a zero star to this insurance company. I always purchased visitor insurance for my mother-in-law because I don’t want her uncovered when seeing a doctor. But all this insurance company did was just declining my claim and sent us a letter saying non sense. Same symptom, the first time that we noticed a ulcer near the left tonsil fossa, we went to see our family doctor and then she referred us to see a specialist, I guess because of the Covid, it took us longer to finally see the specialist and the insurance company just defined this as an unstable pre-existing condition and declined our claim. It is not our fault to wait that long. FYI, we always renewed our policy on time so we have valid insurance every day. Anyway, very disappointed at this company, not trustworthy at all.
