★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jessie is friendly, fast but is careful and skilled. I'm actually a new customer that found this little gem tucked away on 17th. It's a quiet basic salon, nothing fancy. Don't expect designer lighting, fancy furniture, and a bunch of nonsense like free coffee. I actually go every single week to get my hair washed, and those things annoy me. Jessie is reliable and skilled and I can't tell the difference between his work and a high end salon. He doesn't do stuff like fancy bayelage or whatever, but trims, cuts and styling are well within his purview. He does the odd dye touchup. He's very friendly and I enjoy going to him. He makes me feel comfortable and is a kind man. I like going here. He charges about 40 percent less what a high end salon would charge, but I actually prefer him for reasons other than price. I just hate pretentious nonsense. You should come here.
