My experience is the developer has been proactive and cooperative. There is not millions of dollars of deficiencies. You are getting very bad information and those reviews are very unfair and without merit. I am a 3rd party consultant who has no bias. You have not received a special assessment Raymond. Your association received a report.
R	Raymond Ng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ravead3 is correct. BUYERS BEWARE!! Our unit is also 3.5 years old and we also received a special assessment for $2.5MM. (damages and bylaw code violations). Builder is not willing to own up for their mistakes and putting people at risk. Each owner is responsible to pay $30+K or more. They have a current project in Calgary - AVLI Condo's. DO NOT BUY!!!! In reply to Graham Johnson's review, I will post the special assessment from our condo board here so everyone can see it. I'm merely responding to Ravaed3 comments and he is 100% correct. A townhall is scheduled and I will ask other owners to post here as well.
R	Revaed3 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BUYER BEWARE- I purchased a brand new condo (built in 2015) from this developer (Greenview Developments) and within three years the condo unit owners received millions of dollars worth of assessments due to faulty construction (building envelope, fire protection, eavestroughs, downspouts, roof, privacy walls ect.,)and the builder not building the structure up to code, which created unsafe conditions for us. As of this date, the builder/developer have been refusing to take responsibility for this, leaving the unit owners to pay an estimated $30,000 or higher *Response to Graham Johnson's review: I have no idea who you are, but I would love to hear about the solutions you came up with! Oh, and if you could spot me the $7,000 that is due in a few months, that'd be awesome :0)
