★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently moved into the neighbourhood. Taste of Oakville, has been an incredible platform to experience the restaurants close by. We just finished an amazing dinner at Jacs Bistro. We enjoyed the pear salad, shrimp thermidor, lamb shank ( the meat fell of the bone) and the steak and frites( so tender!).
The manager Tanya and our server Christie, provided such warm and attentive personalized service. Thrilled we discovered this establishment. Awesome food and service!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for our 1st after two years and asked to sit outside; sat down at a four sitter and was told to switch to a two seater (durning a time when there was no one on the patio and it wasn’t busy) I explained I wanted to sit in the furthest seat away from the other couple and was told that couldn’t happen. Correct customer service would have been to split the table apart and let us sit in the furthest place away due to comfortable level. We left, the server proceed to tell the other couple that happened. And customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there for a Christmas dinner with a group of 6. The server was knowledgeable, attentive and with good sense of humour. Our drinks were served quickly, but we had to wait a good while for the food to arrive. However it was all worthwhile. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The portions were perfect. We all shared amazing salted caramel cheesecake for dessert. The server had no problem giving us separate bills. The restaurant has great ambiance and made a long drive from the city worth it. It’s a beautiful place with charm and amazing food and service. Would go back anytime.
