Took a pair of badly stained grey suede boots in to be cleaned and they look brand new again! (cost was $25). Staff was very friendly. Will return for future shoe repairs :)

Brought 4 items to be repaired, 2 zipper pulls, 1 snap button, and a pairs of boots to get the scuffs buffed out. Was told it would take a week. Showed up one hour early, boots were done, but that was it. When other items were picked up, a man's jacket had a large zipper pull with Elle on it and a cut out heart, and a shiny snap button with a dent in it replaced a matte dark gray snap button. Overpriced ($20 for a zipper pull that was lying around), and $10 for a dented snap button. Lots of excuses and overpriced.

I went in to get the heel tips replaced on my designer shoes. The new heel tips were clearly bigger than what they should have been and when I pointed that out, they β€œfixed” them by cutting them to try and make them smaller. Needless to say, it ended up looking like amateur work. Definitely not going back.

From start to finish, a horrible experience. This store was recommended by a shoe store in Oakville to have my boot zipper repaired. The quality of the repair was so bad, I thought a kid did it. In the process of repairing the zipper, the lining of the boot was ruined, the zipper didn't line up at the top, the stitching wasn't even in a straight line, and the zipper pull didn't even match the old one! The owner had LOTS of excuses (see the previous review) - years in business, couldn't get the same zipper pulls, etc, etc. The new zipper pull broke off within a month. Reluctantly I went back for a replacement. I'm now using the boots to walk my dog in the mud.

Very substandard work, despite lots and lots of talk about how long he's been in business. Address is out of date. My suitcase was returned caked with dust, though he showed me his vacuum equipment. (?) All he had to do was replace 3 missing zipper pulls, which he did with all different ones - claiming that to "other customers it wouldn't matter" that they didn't match! In my business, the customer is always right, one tries hard to make them happy if repeat business is expected. There was a lot of blather about why he couldn't order matching ones, and 2 trips later, I was charged over $20.00 for 3 little mismatched, ugly metal pulls on my nice suitcase. Unbelievably poor service and workmanship. He even had the cheery recommendation that I take it to the repair shop in Oakville Place to have them fix his poor job. Rip off! Beware. He makes you pay up front. Don't do it!

I brought my shoes to Nick and he was very pleasant and honest in the way that he said fixing the soles of my shoes would be particularly difficult given the composition of the material but assured me that he could do it. I picked up the shoes a week later and was happy to see the holes and cracks sealed and paid him the $45.00 for the repair. Within a day the repair failed and I had to make the trek down again. When I picked up the shoes the repair work looked very sloppy but wondered it that meant the repair would actually last. I decided to wear them in my house for a couple of hours before risking having soaking wet feet all day again... within the first few steps the repair instantly failed and cracked away. Once again I called him and asked if he would provide a refund for the work that he did and was told it wasn't something they did but he would repair them again if I wanted. Seeing how quickly the previous repairs failed, I felt that the hour and a half I would spend driving there to drop them off and back to pick them up would be wasted. The shoes are now in the garbage and $45.00 wasted along with my time and gas/parking costs. I understand that at times things don't work but I'm very disappointed that he wouldn't refund money for a service that wasn't delivered.

Where do I begin... Workmanship equates to someone who has never actually done this sort of thing before which tells me they rushed because this is their business. Some simple patches on a fabric vest. First trip job was eight days, then another four days to fix the first round of mistakes. The first mistake was substituting stiches for an "iron-on" type patch work because the needle broke. After leaving and noticing shortly after (minutes) that the patch was coming off I returned to hear about the broken needle. I left the vest to be properly completed for another 4 days and this time the patches were sewn into and over the underlying pockets to render them useless. I would take it back but I already took it back once and got a terrible job. There is nothing for me to think that this time around would be any different. However, every time I go in there is another excuse why it will be longer than expected, why it didn't get done right the first time, why I have to come back again and again. I do my best to support local small businesses. I really do. Regrettably if you aren't going to value my time, I certainly cannot put value in you.
