β β β β β The sushi was so bad I had to download the google chrome app to leave a review. The fish was not fresh at all and causes me to have an upset stomach. The rice tasted like they cooked it in vinegar it was so sour.
Update: Both my partner and I had upset stomachs after eating here. I DO NOT recommend to ever eat their food again. Someone should probably call the Health Dept on them for unsafe food handling practices.

β β β β β Sushi is so fresh and delicious. Boyfriend practically inhaled a whole platter. This shop takes a lot of consideration into making quality sushi. Come try it out. Itβs a special gem in first Markham.

β β β β β Nice yummy οΌDefinitely will be back... Love that fire dragon(less spicy) and the sakura roll (salmon sashimi with ika). And hawaii roll with mango... And black dragon with bbq eel and avocado.....love every bite

β β β β β highly recommended this "Chirashidon" basically its a bowl of assorted sashimi on rice. It was fresh and delicious just like a picture. Definitely will be back to try out different dish next time...

β β β β β The First Markham Place food court is a core spot for me to grab a quick lunch and/or dinner. Ja sushi is a relatively newer addition, being a Chinese-owned sushi spot. The standout feature for me were there options for salmon lovers! They have sets and platters consisting of just salmon, like this set number 4. It comes with 12 pieces total (3 pc salmon sashimi, 3 pc salmon nigiri, and 6 pc spicy salmon maki) as well as your choice of miso soup or pop. The quality was decent and fresh to taste and soft in texture. I do wish that the spicy mayo could have had more of a kick to it for flavor though. All in all, decent quality sushi but on the pricier side in my opinion, with this set priced at $13.99 plus tax.
