★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The man that owns this store is extremely rude. We went to his store looking for some specific antiques and ended up making purchases later that day but, were mortified with our experience while in this shop. He seemed to be more worried that our well behaved son would break something than working to help us make a purchase... I finally told him how I was feeling & that we'd purchase anything we broke but also told him how rude he was and that we'd never set foot in his store or spend any money in there no matter how much we liked anything he had. We were thrilled to find what we were looking for elseware & give our $400 to someone else! So satisfying!

My first time there and last.I asked to see 2 beautiful overpriced vases, he took them out of the glass case very grumpy, when I said they were way out of my price range he told me” I don’t like costumers like you, why did you come in, don’t ever come back” I was chocked , unreal how rude he is. Zero star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I honestly don't even want to give him(the owner) one star. The moment I stepped into the store he couldn't stop staring at me with anger. His items were highly overpriced that it is considered as a scam in my eyes. By the way, he wouldn't let me touch or see the bottom of the porcelains I was interested in. I felt I was treated with disrespect and rudeness. I don't recommend this shop at all and save you happy days for other antique shop down the streets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this store. I had a great visit and he has accumulated a lot of items that are worth what he's selling them for. This is not a junk shop, he has a lot of hard to find, quality pieces. I suppose you need to have a good understanding of the items to appreciate the prices.
I don't know what everyone is complaining about, but I found the owner to be very friendly, chatty and cheerful. He helped me look through items, answered my questions and when I did decide on a purchase he carefully wrapped and boxed the item.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst experiences I've had shopping in Vancouver. Greated by the rudest man, ignored the majority of the time I was there, and then told to get out because I'm "not a film so don't bother wasting my time" when asking for a price. They have some really cool stuff, but don't bother unless you're looking to get treated horribly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the worst experience ever while being there but not nearly what I would even call a mediocre one. The owner was pretty rude, really! I have never met a more rude human being. He did however showed me a book about what I was looking for (78 rpm records) and that was somewhat nice. My upsetness was caused by the absolute abomination of the prices, like OMG. A simple red seal victor from C.1920 he asked 100 bucks, (it's worth more like 1 dollar) and a rare 7 inch record (worth about 120) he asked 600 dollars its absolutely crazy. I will probably never go back there again. :(
