★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dean and his crew from Island Deckmaster turned our old deck into an oasis. It is like a new room added to our house. The old deck was neither well-built nor positioned right on the house. Maintenance was difficult and time-consuming. The new deck has a beautiful vinyl cover and a combination of glass and picket railing. The strategic combination helped keeping the cost down while maximizing the view.
His advice to add a steel canopy on one section of the deck has paid off many times over. I can stay dry when cook the steaks on the barbeque or sit and watch the sunset even when it rains. We do live in Victoria BC so it does rain a lot here.
I would highly recommend this contractor.
