I have a serious eye condition which can flare up without warning. The first time I saw Dr.Yau, he took his time with my exam and diagnosed my flare up even though the symptoms were atypical. Excellent clinical skills, listens and professional. Definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in today wanting an appointment. But they said why not do an exam today's as they were slow. Was referred to by my fiance cause she knew I hadn't seen an optometrist in years. (Well I never take care of myself) explained everything they did in lengthy detail which was real nice.
Way better than my parents dragging me to Wal-Mart for the only reason cause they are cheap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were referred to him by our family doctor. He takes great care with my mom during her routine eye exam visits. He ensures she is comfortable and helps her understand everything. Very patient, clinically orientated and good diagnostician.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Micheal Yau is a very caring and thorough doctor.He listens to your concerns. Everyone should have Dr. Yau do their family.and friends eye exams.
Docror Yau loves his job , he goes over all his findings before suggesting what the next steps are.So book.your appointment with Victor , he will make sure any insurance claims are set up before you arrive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't normally write reviews but I had to write this one! Dr Michael Yau is the most kind, and knowledgeable Optometrist I have ever met! He takes the time to explain everything to you on the scans that he takes.
I was running late for my appointment with him because another appointment ran long and he stayed past closing time to dilate my eyes and do a thorough baseline eye check. He has very high tech equipment in his office to get the accurate information that he needs to make a proper diagnosis for the patient. He cares very much for his patients and it shows! There are many conditions that can present in the eyes, he took the time to explain and show me some of problems that can be detected by his technology. His staff are also just as wonderful!
He also has direct billing to insurance available.
If you need to get your eyes checked for any reason, I highly recommend seeing Dr Yau, you won't be disappointed!
