Worst moving company Ever. Even though I've provided detailed measures of the pallets & Boxes, they charge based on estimations (good eye) and if you want them to measure to adjust volume, they charge you extra !!! AVOID THIS COMPANY

I have had my money stolen by this company. It has been 4 months since they took my money. They guaranteed they could move me before they were paid. Once they were paid in advance they told me they could not meet the expected date. And then they would not refund me in full for a job that did not happen. No trucks were ever sent. Nothing was ever touched. I am out over a thousand dollars from these frauds. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE THIEVES.

I'm going to try my best to paint this very dismal picture in as few words but as thoroughly as possible... 1. Shipped a container of mechanic tools/truck/bike/household items from Canada to Grand Cayman via Intraglobe for a work opportunity. 2. Upon its arrival in April, work permit issue arises and container needs to be sent back, unopened. Naturally, same company is contacted for the job, and it's stated that it's urgent to avoid incurring duty and storage fees. 3. A week goes by, no news or solid feedback from Intraglobe, charges and fees are already in the $1000's CAD. A local shipping company is contacted to have the container moved off island ASAP to avoid further financial penalty. 4. Intraglobe reprimands me for getting a second shipping line involved (strange, since Intraglobe hadn't seemed to be involved in my URGENT matter). 5. With mostly MY legwork, phone calls, and email corresondence, I manage to transfer the container from the local company to Intraglobe's possession. Throughout this ordeal it seems as though Intraglobe had no concept or ability to communicate with another international shipping company. 6. At this point, (first week of May) container is enroute to Canada. For the next 10 weeks I receive no updates, information, quotes, or assistance from Intraglobe unless I persisted with phone calls and emails. 7. I was routinely promised delivery and shipping dates that were not adhered to; eventually requested that my agent stopping promising things he cannot deliver. 8. Without my tracking number I would never have known of the delays in ports that my container experienced. I forced my agent to contact the partner shipping company while I remained on the line to ensure that things were being taken care of and handled efficiently. 9. The only diligence Intraglobe exhibited was in receiving their payment, which they were hassling me for before they could even guarantee a date my container would safely arrive in Canada. 10. I paid a deposit of $3000 CAD while the container was in transit, and promised to pay the remainder when I received the container, to which there was no objection. 11. Fast forward to the day of retrieval. Drive an hour and half to Calgary where container is unloaded, and have all paperwork and documentation completed by 9:30am. Container was not picked up until 6PM! The icing on the cake? A phone call from their accounts receivable department in Montreal at 5PM, stating that because they hadn't received payment in full before the end of the business day, the container would not be released. 12. WHY, if payment in full is a condition of the container's release, is that not mentioned to me BEFORE the end of the business day, when I have little to no hope of arranging funds via a bank?! I was luckily able to pay the balance in cash and take my belongings. 13. Upon closing the deal, I had of course expressed my discontent with the owner/director Jaques, to which he snidely responded to my email with "tell me what the problems were in 3 lines or less". Moral(s) of the story: -Intraglobe has only their bottom line at heart, not your interests. -I now know how to ship goods across the world thanks to their incompetence. -I will likely never ship anything anywhere again thanks to the nightmare Intraglobe created. -NEVER trust that people are going to be as thorough and capable at their jobs as you are at yours. I would like to see this company disbanded and from the other reviews I've seen, they won't be missed.

We recently used IntraGlobe to move our items from Toronto to Singapore. I do not recommend them as a moving company and would highly discourage you from using them. There are 3 reasons why I do not recommend using this company: 1.The quote they provide is highly inaccurate and expect to pay at least 25% more, before the move is complete. Their quote may be lower than competitors, but in the end, you will pay the same or more than their competitors. In our case, our volume increased from 6 cubic meters to 6.6 cubic meters so a slight increase in price was warranted. However, majority of the increase was due to increased time it took to move our items from Toronto to the warehouse. The movers truck broke down and they decided to use their pickup truck. As a result, it took them a lot longer to complete the move as they required 2 trips to the warehouse instead of 1. A month later, we were asked to pay for the longer time it took to do the move, even though it was not our fault. We raised this issue with IntraGlobe, but they refused to reduce the fees saying they had already paid the Toronto movers. 2.The timelines they provide are also highly inaccurate. We were quoted 5 to 8 weeks, but it ended up taking 12 weeks. The movers they subcontracted to do the final delivery in Singapore were not paid on time by IntraGlobe, which delayed the shipment by 1 week. We paid IntraGlobe as soon as our shipment was collected from Toronto, however IntraGlobe took a long time to pay the movers in Singapore. In fact, the movers in Singapore did not enjoy dealing with IntraGlobe. 3.Verbal or written agreements with IntraGlobe do not count and will change at any time. Once our shipment arrived in Singapore, the movers in Singapore had an additional fee (not related to additional volume as we had already paid for it) which was previously not agreed upon between IntraGlobe and the movers. As we had already settled our bill, we disputed the increase in pricing and asked IntraGlobe to resolve as it is their duty to figure out pricing with their contracted movers before quoting us the price. Eventually we came to an agreement where, IntraGlobe agreed to pay half of the increase in pricing while we covered the other half. IntraGlobe verbally confirmed and sent an email to the movers in Singapore that they would cover half the increase. However, 2 days later they changed their mind. Do not expect IntraGlobe to hold their word. I highly recommend you using another moving company. Our experience with IntraGlobe was not good and hopefully the review helps you understand why. On the positive note, we did receive our complete shipment with some minor dents to our furniture (but to be expected with such moves). In summary, do yourself a favour and STAY AWAY from IntraGlobe.

I have done several international moves - none have gone as poorly as the one I contracted Intraglobe for from Montreal to London in early 2020. I had insured the goods & despite photographic evidence of the extensive damage caused by the movers, they refused to reimburse the value of the goods. Additionally they added a significant overcharge based on some measurement they had made of the goods - which was different than the measurement at destination. There are plenty of honest moving companies out there - this is not one of them.

Having read some negative comments on different Websites, I was a bit worried and ended up being pleasantly surprised by this company. After contacting Intraglobe at the end of June, the movers took my stuff on July 30, 2021, and my things arrived at the end of September. Areas for improvement include giving a better estimate of the volume of my move, as I would have been able to add more stuff to it (fixed price); as well as more transparency for the payments (e.g. getting invoices or receipts as soon as a payment was made) and proactivity (e. g. I had to ask for the tracking number of the vessel that carried my things). HOWEVER, I have to stress that communications with the administrative staff on the Canadian and the French side were very good. Employees were always pleasant and quick to respond. The movers were courteous, cautious and efficient, and my place was clean when they left. My things arrived in mint condition. Despite the above-mentioned shortcomings, my move was seamless. On the basis of my personal experience, I would hire this company again, and I would recommend them. Thank you.

I moved from france to Quebec and it was perfect. The people came to package our stuff, very pro. Then good tracking and it arrived in time, with a delivery inside our new house. The price was awesome as well as the communication, I recommend!
