★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jewel of Telkwa it is! Beautiful, clean, great hosts, great coffee, great breakfast! We stayed there over New Years to ski Hudson Bay and it was a great location just outside Smithers. Easy to get to the hill. Trains were no bother. The place is refurbished to beautiful immaculate detail. Rink side room also has a fabulous bath!! Lovely will stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Creamery is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. A restored dairy creamery from 1939 has been brought back to splendid shape. Well appointed & cozy w/ a great breakfast. Couldn't recommend this place any more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This absolute gem epitomizes home away from home. The Inn is meticulously refurbished, with a thoughtful and eclectic mix of historical and contemporary pieces. To top it all off, Christine & Alfie are truly gracious hosts and the surrounding riverscape is simply stunning. A must-see/stay if you are in Telkwa/Smithers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a guest at the inn but the cafe was amazing! I’ve been looking for a place to get a proper cup of coffee and I think this is it. Good service, friendly staff, beautiful spot with nice antique decor — it has a very comfortable atmosphere. I really enjoyed my americano and the huckleberry scone was exceptional.
Highly recommend to others!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn't eat here but I stayed the night. There are so many nice touches to this place, including guest shoes individual French presses, fantastic roasted on the site coffee, and extremely comfortable beds. The water from the top is delicious, and the location on the river is sweet. On the other side of the river, but I never heard them all night, and when I heard the trains during the day it was not offensive at all.
