A bit too long of a wait, but I respected shop owners rules. Absolute gems being sold here. Super helpful owner and staff as only very few customers allowed at a time. Super clean shop, a bit too clean.. i felt bad for sifting through the neatly folded clothes.

Great selection...reasonable prices...completely unreasonable customer service. Treated with an unsolicited level of contempt and snobbery. There were things in there that I wanted, but I left because the man with the beard was so incredibly nasty to me. Worst vintage experience of my life.

Would never shop here again in my life. The lady who was working was extremely RUDE. She kept mentioning there was a line outside and to be considerate of the people waiting outside. Funny thing is we were inside for approximately 2-3 minutes. Lol and it doesn’t help that 70% of clothes are folded. Don’t shop here guys !

Terrible experience. Was offered next to no help yet felt like I was being watched like a hawk. So many of the clothes are folded and the employee gave the vibe like they weren’t to be messed with - but there’s no way to know what’s in the pile without looking at them. Definitely not worth shopping here. And the stock looked overpriced.

My first experience at this store was when I came in with my teenage brother who is into streetwear. They were very helpful to us during this visit. My brother tried on lots of clothes, bought several pieces, and enjoyed his experience. I found a great vintage band shirt at a reasonable price. Subsequent experiences have not been as pleasant. Since then, I’ve come in several times on my own, only to be ignored. When browsing the band shirts, I was asked if I was looking for anything. I named a few classic rock shirts I’ve been looking for and was told curtly, β€œwe don’t have that”. More recently, I stopped in with a few other female friends and we were roundly ignored in favour of a male customer! Given that my teen brother got the royal treatment and I, an adult, was ignored and condescended to, I cannot help but feel that this treatment is motivated by sexism. It’s a shame because this store has great items, but I can’t support a business that treats women this way!

This is not only the greatest vintage clothing store in Toronto, but the best I have ever been to, period. Josh and Chantelle are both incredibly knowledgeable and the care put into both the curation and presentation of the store is immense. That is not even mentioning their Instagram account. I have found many of my favourite wardrobe pieces here and will return for as long as they are operational. They have so many rare finds you’ll see nowhere else in the city, and the best part, the price is ALWAYS fair. Seriously. I always end up just chatting with the owners for quite a while every time I’m there, it’s a very personalized experience that I have never found elsewhere. Support this shop! It is a staple in Toronto vintage

These guys are hands down the best vintage store you'll ever find: 1) The Store: They put so much care and effort into each section of the store. It is extremely well organized by category. I particularly love their thematic drops and the time/effort they put into curating collections. The store is extremely clean and it makes you feel good to shop from here. 2) The Clothing: You will NOT find any vintage store that spends as much time to thoroughly wash the clothes more than these guys do. I've been to a lot of vintage stores and you feel dirty or icky after touching the clothes. This is not the case at In Vintage We Trust. Everything feels and looks great. Also, everything in the store is a quality piece - they don't sell poor condition items that are on their last limbs. 3) The Knowledge: They KNOW what they are selling. This store cares about the items they sell, they know about the history of each piece. Since my first time visiting, any time I would touch a piece, Josh or Chantal would tell me about that piece and I would learn more about it. Other vintage stores literally buy anything off the street, don't wash it, put it on the shelf, and if you ask a question they don't even know about the piece they are selling. These guys are in it for the right reasons and that's why I will always support that. 4) The personalized experience: These guys care so much about their customers. They are super friendly and personable. They are ALWAYS offering to help. Chantal helped me go through piles and piles of perfectly folded tee's and assured me countless times that the clothes are here for me to go through them. They have the best memory and remember what I like or don't like so whenever something they think I would like comes into the store, they make sure to show it to me. 5) The Pricing: These guys are extremely well-priced. If you walk into any other vintage store, the prices are through the roof, for something they know nothing about and for something that isn't even washed. These guys put so much work and effort into their business, and I find their clothing is consistently well-priced compared to a lot of other stores. Quite honestly, they are the best and most reasonably priced vintage store in the city. 5) Overall: These guys are the definition of a badass small business. They add so much value to the neighborhood and to the city of Toronto. My brother and I have been coming here for years. We've been to a lot of vintage stores in Canada and the US and nothing compares to this one. Toronto is lucky to have them. If I could rate it 100 out of 10, I would!
