Had Ted and the crew from In House perform various work in my home (paint an entire kitchen, living room and 2nd floor, apply baseboard in living room and 2nd floor, complete a whole powder room, apply backsplash to the whole kitchen and frame exposed heating ducts). These guys performed QUALITY work. VERY pleased! Professional, clean and great attitudes. These are my "go to" guys! Thanks for the hard work guys! :-)

Marcus recently removed our old kitchen backsplash and installed a new one. He was prompt, professional and, most importantly, his work was excellent.

We contracted with In-House to install 2 IKEA kitchen cabinets. Our experience was very positive as they were cost effective/competitive and professional in their approach. The team of installers were curtious and kept the worksite clean and safe from any debris or hazzards. We would use In-House again for our next kitchen project.

Very responsive, his estimate was exactly what was charged. Marcus went above and beyond assembling and installing our IKEA cabinets on very short notice. We will definitely call again and will recommend to anyone who needs his services.

One star is far too much. I have tons of pictures to show the type of work this company does. I had off the shelf Home Depot cabinets installed. Marcus was the installer. What an absolute nightmare. If I wasn’t there, the job would’ve been even worse. He showed up 2 hours late travelling to Stoney creek from Toronto was the excuse. I knew I was in for trouble from that moment on. Panels installed backward, off level (I just had counters installed and saw even more terrible work upon closer inspection). It wasn’t off by an 1/8” more like a full inch in just a 5 foot span. He didn’t have the capability to make simple cuts for filler pieces. He left without doing those and gave me 100 back. He wouldn’t leave that day as he didn’t want to come back did to distance. He stayed until 12:30 am while cutting outside, finally neighbours asked how much longer. I had to adjust doors myself, install door handles myself (because he put the ones I bought in the wrong place and would hit the counter). I used them based on what seemed to be a reasonably professional online appearance. Don’t be fooled. I’m telling you, don’t use them for any type of cabinetry install. If they plan on rebutting this review, I have tons of photos to show the joke of an install. I wasn’t going to post anything as I never do, but the counter install and the off level cabinetry was the last straw. I paid top dollar, and got what not even a beginner apprentice would do. Be ware!

Not impressed with the work for the amount of money spent! We were made to believe the task of moving a small wall back 4 inches and having a kitchen installed was such an easy task. Once Marcus started there were nothing but excuses about how it is sooo much work. At the time, my wife and I were a few weeks away from having our baby. It took 3 weeks to have this small wall framed up and pushed back. Once that was finished our child was born and I could not spend as much time to monitor the work being done. When cutting out one wall, we were promised that the house would be taped up to prevent dust from spreading which was not the case at all and all of my baby's clothes and our furniture was covered in a layer of dust! The plumber that came took forever to connect 4 water lines, two for the sink and two for the washer and dryer and kept the water shut off in the house for the whole day! Marcus was very professional at first but went down hill from the moment the money was taken, constantly referring to me as "bro" and using my own tools as he never seemed to have what he needed. On top of that, my plug in lamp was dropped and the bulb was smashed and that was never repaired for me. I also had purchased a dryer vent and water lines for the new machines and those were used and I was told that I would have to pay extra for a dryer line as there was not enough. When I confronted Marcus and told him that I had already purchased one and that he used it, I was called "cheap" again. We already paid you over $24,000 for this work and I paid out of pocket for a faucet, sink and other plumbing requirements because you didn't have enough money to pay your workers but I'm the cheap one?!?! Having the baby and paying after the work was done, I realized we were charged for the installation of a door that never came to be installed. When contacting Marcus, we were told that he traded the installation of about 20 tiles that I had already provided for the installation of a $2,000 door. I then was called cheap and not fair and many other not so pleasant things. I now have to pay $2,000 extra to have a door put in because he won't refund me for false promises, but in the paperwork it shows I was charged for this non existent door. The guys who installed the kitchen and the others that installed the counter tops however did a fantastic job and I would use them again! Do your research and with contractors and don't do work when expecting a child as you will be taken advantage of like my wife and I were!

Marcus and his tiling expert completed a shower stall flooring project efficiently and at top quality standards. They fixed an uneven surface that was allowing water to stagnate in the corners. It was priced fairly and they even found the exact tile to replace the one that needed removal. I'm a super happy customer! They even did a small unrelated kitchen job without charging me just as a nice gesture. I would definitely call IN-HOUSE again in future.

I was in the process of installing a new IKEA kitchen on the main floor and searched around and got a few quotes. I found his website online and decided to call Marcus. His quote was quite competitive and he also visited my home as he was in the neighborhood. I was impressed with his knowledge, high energy and diligence. To ensure that the job was done correctly he also told me that the job would take about two days however I was pleasantly surprised by his skill and that of his workman in that they were able to actually get the kitchen done in one day by working until late that day into the night. I had a very tight deadline to meet and he gladly accommodated me. He even recommended a company to purchase and install the quartz countertops and took the time to be there when the installers came to ensure everything went smoothly. I literally saved hundreds of dollars as a result. Thanks Marcus for everything - you deserve 5 stars. As a home owner who has had his fair share of shoddy contractors, I would highly recommend this company.
