Its a very nice place and also the superintendent is very nice. He always smiles at you and ask you if everything is okay. I feel comfortable with him. I am lucky to have found a place like this. ? its a very lovely place you can call home β™₯️

I've had great experiences with Imperra and although I'm not at one of their buildings anymore I saw some negative press on them and wanted to reiterate their great service to the building. Having been a landlord myself once I know that machines breakdown at times and it's out of our control. When a landlord is attentive and quick to react they care and they're doing their best. And my past experience with Imperra were incredible! A family run business with tenants and good service in mind.

I love my apartment. The management is solid and acts quickly if you have a request. Each room has climate control, we are on a super quiet street, the building is well maintained, never had to wait for a washing machine, bike storage, a locker if you need it and ample closet and storage in your unit. I've read other reviews and don't understand the negative ones as I have had a great experience living at 44 Emma Street for nearly 4 years.

Possibly the worst building management company my friend and I have had to deal with. 1. She’s been trying to get a laundry card for 2 months 2. Trying to get another parking spot since move in 3. Parking lot is a death trap and when you tell the building manager they argue with you. Building managers are slow to any requests, rude and argumentative. Stay Away

An absolutely atrocious company. Despite the fact that my girlfriend and I jointly leased the apartment, Imperra effectively REFUSED to provide us with two keys. It took 29 days to secure a second set of keys. The unit itself was dirty and fairly damaged (see pictures attached). But not to worry, the Imperra team was on it - a whole 15 days later. Now, one would think that in those circumstances one would be entitled to a partial abatement...well, not with Imperra. But then again, I suppose that's to be expected when renting a place in a Double-Murder building

I have lived in this building for 17 years. This building was fine until 2018 when the company changed its name. After that time they sent numerous letters they called "amendment to your lease" where they stated that we couldnt walk pets on the property. That we couldnt have ACs and much more. Recently, Imperra sold our building. Despite tenants asking Imperra about this for 2 years, they instead ensured us they were not going to sell. They then gave everyone in the building 5 days to sign away our rights to tenancy and told us we would be evicted as of December 31st, WINTER (less then 3 months notice). When tenants tried to explain that this isnt allowed, they ignored us. They wanted us all to end our lease so they can rent to new people at higher rents. It took the City becoming involved for Imperra to write a retraction. They said the letter evicting all tenants was sent "in error". Can you imagine? When they did finally sell the building, they offered no communication. Removed our laundry machines, replaced them with ones that barely worked, and left holes in the walls in the lobby. They left such a mess when they left, even though all tenants still live here they made sure it looked trashed. Walking in the building is just unslighly. They couldnt clean up after themselves. It shows how much they do not care about their buildings or their tenants.

I am a tenant at one of the Toronto buildings that they manage for almost 8 years. I am happy with the way they run our building because they have the tenant's safety as their number one priority. The building superintendent is very professional and approachable. She cleans the building thoroughly! The management is prompt in assisting tenants with their needs and they are fair in dealing with all the tenants. The office staff are very polite, extremely efficient and helpful.
