★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best selection for hobbyists in the lower mainland. I do not know of a single other store in the lower mainland that carries airbrush paints. Lots of selection on all of your nerdy hobbies: miniatures, terrain, carrying cases, cards, comics, you name it. Imperial Hobbies has been an institution in the area for well over a decade. Shame they're in a hard to reach area now

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While this store is the largest hobby store for plastic model kits, I highly recommend everyone to check out either Magic Box Hobbies or Burnaby Hobbies.
1. Price is not that affordable (not significantly cheaper than other 2 stores)
2. Traffic unfriendly location
3. Some rude/not knowledgeable staffs
4. The website will always says in-stock for all items but when you actually go to the store, you will find out it's not in stock.
Overall, this store is only worth visiting once to check out. Otherwise, stay away because there is lack of customer service and also selection is not that large compare to Magic Box Hobbies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the ultimate gaming shop! If you want to buy a board game or get supplies for your D&D game, this is it! They even have gaming tables so that people can get together to play their favorite games. They also have some modeling supplies. Lastly, they have a great selection of comic books. It is an awesome shop! Go and check it out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A whole lot of inventory here, pretty much everything I would need when it's stocked. Sometimes restocks for paints and probably other things do take awhile now but that's not necessarily their fault. Everything seems to be priced on the product or signage which is great. Personal opinion though, I don't appreciate the store price tag being higher than the suggested price on some books, specifically the D&D handbooks at time of writing this review.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing amount of model kits, board games and other crafts!
Aisles and aisles of model kits, organized by types (planes, cars, tanks etc). Staff was very helpful setting us up with what we needed as we are beginners.
Found the prices to be reasonable when compared to shopping online at other places.
There's even tables set up for people to come and play board games there. You'll find plenty of great board games here that you won't see in the toy stores.
Highly recommend, we will be back when we're ready for our next project

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time stopping by at Imperial Hobbies, there’re tons of board game, puzzles and chess options available.
They have multiple versions of munchkin, monopoly, clue, etc. Which are definitely one of the most popular games.
Highly recommended.
