I went to their office in Coquitlam Center and saw Dr. Ing early September 2020. He was very nice and gave me an eye exam. During it he mentioned cataracts and said people often get them removed in their 70’s ( yup that’s me) he wrote me out an prescription for new lenses. I went to a place I had bought from before and picked out 2 new pair at a cost of almost $800. They came in and I tried wearing them for a week to no avail. I see double most of the time. Went back to where I bought them and they said the prescription was exactly what Dr Ing order. They suggested I go back to him which I did. He semi checked my eyes again and said the glasses are fine it is the cataracts. OK THEN my question is “ WHY give me a prescription that won’t work because of cataracts”. Now I am out all that money because that Doctor should have said NO new lenses until Cataracts are removed (which he never did). Needless to say I am not very happy. As an added note, in telling a friend, she said she will never go back to them due to the way she was treated

Dont go here. Go to the Coq Centre location. I visited the Lougheed Mall location today. I've always had a pleasant experience with Coquitlam Centre location but since it was closed for renovation, I figured other locations might offer the same level of services. I wanted to pick up monthly contact lenses because I had run out. My last batch was ordered from Coquitlam Centre location. I went in, handed an employee my prescription. It expired in August but my prescription had not changed and I clearly let her know this. She said she couldn't find my info. She then said she could find my glasses info but not my contacts info. I asked how did she not have my info when I ordered from the same company? She said she doesn't know. I asked if she can call to get my records and she said no. I asked her why not and she said she just can't. She seemed like she just didn't want to bother. I said can she please just recommend any monthly contacts because I don't have too much time and she said she will need to examine my eyes to see what my eyeshape looks like. So she took me to the back and then pointed to the sink. I thought she was asking me to wash my hands before taking off my contacts so I did. She didn't give me any contact case so I asked her where can I put my contacts? She had a blank look on her face and then said what? I asked her again where can I take my contacts off. She pointed to the sink. I told her I am not throwing my last pair of monthly contacts away. How will I see for the rest of the month? Then she said just use that case right there (not even pointing in any direction yet expecting me to know where to find it). There was an open, used contact case sitting inside a bin that had other random things thrown in next to the sink. I asked her if that was a new case. She said no. I said I'm not putting my contacts in a used case. I asked her if it was at least clean. Then she says you know what I don't think I can help you. Why don't you call Coquitlam Centre and find the person that helped you to help you again. I said it's closed so how can I do that? She said I don't know we can't help you. I said I need contacts so what choice do I have? She said I don't know. She said she doesn't have my records and I said that's not my fault you don't have my records? She said she can't do anything about it. She said the only way is to book an appt with a doctor and pay again then you can get contacts again.  She was cold, unwilling to help and not very pleasant to deal with. I walked out after that. I called the number on the website (Coq centre location) and they were able to find my info within minutes. I don't understand why the person at Lougheed Mall couldn't just call if she couldn't find my info. Do I have to be responsible when my record is lost with the company? And telling me to throw away my contacts or use an used case - that is unsabitary and blatantly a violation of Covid safety protocol. This staff at that particular location should be made aware that is not acceptable. The person over the phone was able to help me out but I am disgusted by the lack of professionalism and customer service at the Lougheed Mall location.
