Dr. Iris Kivity Chandler has looked after all 3 of our kids, she is amazing and always spends time with us and goes over everything from start to finish. We all think she is the best orthodontist, our family would not hesitate to recommend her and her wonderful team. We love her new office and wish her the best of luck in her modern facility. I saw Dr. Kavity-Chandler last year when I was told the pain I was experiencing was TMJ. After a very thorough examination, Dr. Kavity-Chandler came up with a plan to help me. After a few short months I’m happy to say that I rarely have any pain. Her and her staff are very thorough and caring. They take the time to get to know you and are always there to help.

The staff and Dr Kivity at IKC Ortho are the kindest, gentlest and most communicative Ortho practice I've ever been serviced at. After awful experiences as a young adult and a practice I tried my son at, we finally feel safe and well looked after here from the day we walked in. Thank you!!!

I honestly can't comment on Dr. Chandler because she didn't do any work on me herself. I visited IKC due to a broken permanent retainer, which has happened several times over the past 10-15 years and has always been re-bonded without issue. It is literally gluing a wire to the back of the front teeth. At my first visit to the office, I never met Dr. Chandler and one of her assistants did a faulty repair job (couldn't bite down properly) despite me telling him it didn't feel right. I went home and had a hard time with eating and sleeping, so I knew it had to be re-done. I emailed the clinic and Dr. Chandler examined me at the next appointment. She agreed it needed to be fixed but said there wasn't a room available so I'd have to come back for a 3rd visit, later that day. I came back for the 3rd time. Instead of being repaired by Dr. Chandler, another of her assistants did the job. I'm not sure what she did exactly but she pressed my front teeth into an unnatural position while bonding the wire back on, causing the teeth to move. My front teeth have been hurting since the appointment >6 weeks ago. This is not normal and has never happened to me, and I've had this repaired 6+ times since I've had it. Having been to the office 3 times already without success, and now with pain, I have decided to see a different Dr. As I said, I can't comment on Dr. Chandler's work since she didn't do the repairs, though I wish she would have and I actually asked her to do so. I would not recommend this clinic. EDIT (11/11/2021), since I cannot reply to the owner's reply. Thank you for your response. Just wanted to add that though it was an inconvenience to have to come back a 3rd time, that is not the issue. After the first appointment/error, I did notify the clinic. I emailed and asked for Dr. Chandler to correct it. Though she examined me after that, she didn't do the correction. Instead, she had another assistant (a dental hygienist) do it. After the revision, I immediately asked if it was normal to feel like my teeth were moving, and Dr. Chandler dismissed that concern. It's unreasonable to expect me to trust the clinic and come for a follow-up after this distressing experience.
