★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've always liked iHop but we had a bad experience the last time we went. We have religious implications and so I explicitly told the server we can't have any meat/make sure there's no meat contact with our food but the Burrito my brother ordered came with Bacon. Eating pork is considered really bad in our religion. This was his first visit in Canada and he couldn't tell, until he shared a bite with me and I had to spit it out. The server apologized and brought pancakes to make up to us which was very kind but he had already eaten it and it made us feel guilty for days. Overall, I didn't enjoy my visit and felt like this could be avoided.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waitress we had was awesome, while she was busy the manager brought out our food, our hashbrowns were so burnt I couldn't even pick them up without picking up the entire pile at once, my toast was so stale that you could snap it in half and my mother in laws toast was basically buttered bread. We spent $90 here and it was terrible. Definitely don't plan on returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my family have been to IHOP many times over the years and have always had great service. Today we were served by Pamela, she was extremely rude and seemed very annoyed if we would ask for anything. My grandmother had asked for a new set of cutlery as ours had fell to the floor to which she responded with a sarcastic tone “was there anything else I could get you on this trip?”
Towards the end of our breakfast Pamela brought the bill over and made my grandmother pay while she was still eating! I have never been served by such an unkind lady, do better!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a lovely waitress and got the Mac and cheese pulled pork sandwich, which was delicious and a side salad with balsamic that was excellent. Coming back to try more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The absolute worst service! Hardly anyone here eating but no service. They get angry if you ask them to clean the table? We ordered more food bc we were still hungry and they left all the plates on the table. We asked them to clean it and they ignored us. We complained about under cooked bacon and they took the price off our plate to recook it. Most staff more concerned with iPhones then service. The food was actually good and we did enjoy the pancakes. The staff spent more time gossiping about us then providing service.
Edit. We spoke to the manager and she was responsive and helpful and gave us a gift card so we can so we can give them another try. That made the situation so much better. We feel so much better about the situation.

I actually gave 4star to this place before but if I could now i would give zero star.
Our group of 8 people went for the breakfast on December 27. The server was too much enthusiastic. One of my friends wants to go ahead and order and she shamed him saying if he order before us it would be rude whereas we didn’t mind and asked him to go ahead and order as we were still deciding. But we laughed and did not say anything. We liked the food and one of my friends ordered another dish when the rest of us were almost finished. She brought the food and before he finishes half she came back with the bill. We were 8people so we were told the tip would be 15% automatically added to the bill which we were absolutely okay until the server told me something very offensive. I ordered pancake original and I did not finish that and she asked me if I didn’t like that. I said It’s okay but she said, “i know it’s not chapati or roti” because I am brown. My husband said why did you say that and she kept arguing instead of apologizing. I would never go back there. They don’t respect race. I saw other review they are not respectful to religious either. Also, even after this hateful comment she charged us the tips. I didn’t eat but I paid including tips and got this behaviour in return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pancakes were light and fluffy as they should be! Some hit and miss. They have reduced their syrup flavours to only old fashioned. Crispy chicken were mini chicken tenders. Avocado was unripe and brick hard. However server was really sweet. Just needs better management to inspect quality.
