Very unpleasant customer service experience. I’ve been trying to find a family doctor on the North Shore for over a year now. I inquired at iHealth in October 2020 and they confirmed that Dr. Brennan was accepting new patients. Great. I booked the earliest Meet & Greet in two weeks after that. They called me a week later and rescheduled me to November, explaining that Dr. Brennan was overbooked for October. No problem. Just before my November appointment, the receptionist called me informing that my appointment is cancelled because Dr. Brennan was no longer accepting new patients. That was very disappointing, to say the least… A year later, I am giving this clinic another chance but still have to deal with the rigidity and lack of understanding from the reception. I am assigned a doctor now and hopefully will have a pleasant experience with the professional medical staff. My advise is to be patient and keep trying as finding a family physician these days is not so easy.

I love Dr. Oveisi, but this clinic has turned into the most unhelpful office. I switched doctors because I could never get an appointment with my previous doctor. I have to wait a week for a 2 min phone call appointment for a prescription renewal. They send an email explaining they will call back once if you don’t answer the first time. I wait half an hour from the time of my appointment to finally use the bathroom, the call comes then, i panic but miss it. An hour later the office calls and says too bad, he can’t call u again, you’ll have to wait 4 days now for this 2 minute appointment. Zero regard for anyone, this is not the clinic it once was. If it weren’t for the fact that Dr. Oveysi is a literal angel on earth and I would walk through fire to remain his patient, I’d be searching for a new clinic.

While I love my GP Dr. Fadeyeva, as well as the other doctors that I have seen in this office, I am consistently frustrated and disappointed in the handling of the front desk. The receptionists not only are often quite rude, they have screwed up appointments and follow-ups for myself and my family almost every time we come in. Please work on the front desk service; going to the doctor can be stressful enough for many as it is, let alone dealing with things that should have been handled before we even came into the office.

My husband and I have been patients of Ihealth Medical Center for many years and have recently had a wonderful experience at the clinic. Jacob and the front desk staff were extremely accommodating and very friendly. Dr. Fadeyeva is always caring, thorough and never makes you feel as though there is a rush to see other patients. We would highly recommend her and the office.

The Dr. Is great but the front staff is so disrespectful especially because the patients are seeking help. I can send an urgent email where it’s time sensitive and they’ll get back to me 4-5 days later saying that β€œthey do their rounds.” It’s a part of the job to respond to emails! I’m a receptionist and I would lose patients if I didn’t get back to emails. After calling the office multiple times, mind you, you can’t even leave a voicemail, they’ll eventually answer. Or it’ll ring and then the robot will eventually say β€œtry to call later.” It’s a poor phone system, email system, overall customer service! After coming forth with the receptionist stating my concern of the delay in response, she has the curtesy to flip out then hang up. I’m hoping after all these bad reviews they will change the front staff. Once again, I absolutely appreciate my doctor. She hears me out, she does her job amazing, and she understands where I’m coming from!

I've been a patient since 2017 and the service went completely downhill. My doctor was awesome and helped me a lot when I had serious health issues back in 2018, the staff were lovely and I didn't even mind waiting up to 45 minutes to be seen since they were very pleasant. But slowly I started to become unable to book an appointment with her, I don't think you should have to wait a month or two to see your GP. The receptionists went from lovely, respectful and helpful to downright rude and bitter. I had a series of small incidents where I needed to be seen and I wasn't taken seriously by the doctor who saw me since my GP wasn't available. There were three very concerning incidents: 1) I asked for a referral to a gastroenterologist and was called for an appoint 2 years later, when the office called me I said that I never booked it and that I don't need it anymore. Therefore I canceled right there and then with the specialist's receptionist, I later received a very rude call from Ihealth MD telling me to "properly"cancel my appointments with specialists and be mindful of their work and the specialist's. I clarified saying that I was not contacted by the specialists prior to their confirmation call and that I clearly canceled the appointment with the specialist's receptionist. The person over the phone did not apologize and hung up the phone. 2) I understand that COVID has taken a toll on everyone specially doctors and medical offices, however from my understanding there are certain things need to be addressed in due time. I asked for a referral to an allergist in 2019 (prior COVID), I do understand that there is a huge waitlist and many people who need more than I do, but that doesn't mean I could wait 3 years to be seen. I was finally able to see the allergist in February 2022. Even the doctor was shocked that I was living the way I was for 3 years. 3) I have been booked with my GP without my consent and without a notice at least 3 times. I don't think I should be informed I have an appointment booked if I didn't book it myself. Receiving an email saying that I have an appointment tomorrow when I never booked anything is quite weird and bothersome. If it was an email with my GP requesting an appointment without it being pre booked without my consent I'd gladly take it. I'm very thankful to my GP and the good times I had with this clinic but it is extremely sad to see a place where I felt welcomed become a nightmare. I hope that once the pandemic is over the clinic can go back to what it was. EDIT: Upon looking through my documents, on incident 1 iHealth didn't call me, they sent an email. My apologies. Another edit for incident 1 my referral was sent in May and I got the appointment in December. Another edit for incident 2, my GP saw me in 2020 (not 2019) so there was a two year wait, not three.

First of all, I'm not complaining about a doctor she is a great. Her name is DR. Roehlig.Well thank you! I'm complaining about front office access. They are extremely disrespectful and rude. This did not happen for the first time, but several times. I decided to write this review as well.I'm a patient with Covid. and I can't see any doctor right now. That's why I also had a first phone call with Health BC Where the madam recommended me to contact my family doctor by phone. I want to be responsible so I try to do everything by phone and be considerate of others. After calling the front office, I explained that I was a Covid patient and I would like to talk to my doctor really only as briefly as possible to prescribe a medicine. The lady maximally ignored me and said that they are full that I can order in a next week week.I explained to her once again that I was a covid patient and I needed to prescribe some medication from my doctor that I would really like to talk to her very briefly. Her answer was NO! So I told her that I would record this call and if I had to go somewhere in the emergency so that I had proof . As soon as I said I wanted to record it, the lady folded the phone cheeky. Eventually I will probably have to contact Healthy BC anyway because the front office of my family doctor is terrible. Unfortunately, this is a front office approach.

I do not recommend this clinic due to the terrible scheduling that lead me to a very uncomfortable experience. I recognize this is not a fault of the doctor as she had always been knowledgeable and attentive, however, I have a different perspective after my last and final visit at this clinic. Honestly surprised that I am writing a bad review because this clinic wasn't always bad. The extremely negative experience with my last appointment has turned me off going to medical clinics for my routine check ups, as I do not feel my health is a priority. I went in for a routine PAP in 2021. Everything seemed as usual with my check in and waiting. They then got me into a room to wait for my doctor. Again, nothing abnormal here. I sat in the room, on the bed for over 30 minutes, waiting with no pants & just paper covering my body. No doctor, no one coming in to check on me to say she has run behind. Nothing. This left me feeling anxious & I ended up putting my clothes on and walked out of the room and clinic. To this day, no phone call, no check up, nothing. This was the last bad experience I was willing to go through - this just tops the terrible telehealth services I have received since covid began & the already long wait times and quick run through my appointments prior to covid. Not impressed. Please respect your patients' time & dignity. Don't leave them sitting in a small room, half naked for an extended period of time when they can sit in the waiting room until the doctor is actually ready to see them? Really dropped the ball on this.
