★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a really bad experience here that makes me question the management of this grocery store. An employee encouraged people to skip ahead of me and my baby while I was in line to pay and made fun of me when I turned to him, incredulous by his actions. To add insult to injury, the items I bought were over a week past the expiry date, and these were dairy products.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've bought groceries from here many times, especially for certain specific good quality local produce. Great produce, breads and other vegan products range.
The staff is good and very helpful. Parking is plenty outside and mostly you'll find a spot close to the entrance.
Definitely recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never order any fresh meat from here by delivery! Because it never comes fresh, but usually 3 days old at least. We have seen this happening several times and now it is enough. These items came today, 21st July. The steak was packed 3 days ago and the minced meat is grey from inside. 12 dollars to trash this time.
We have also stopped buying any frozen food, as ice cream by delivery because they always arrive badly melted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Quebec microbrewery beer selection with very competitive prices. I use it for large quantity purchases like for the weekly hockey game. Also, IGA accepts Air Miles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time I came to this IGA! Very cool place to visit if you are looking for something special! All the employees are wearing these cool hats (not sure why) but it’s cool! It’s clean, produce looks great and customer service is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The women working at the customer service counter are always very rude and have no patience. They are always unhelpful and give us a hard time. The best person there is 'Patrick' --- he is so very good at his job with customer services .. he has been the only good employee you have at the counter for a long time. Unfortunately, we cannot find him recently .????? Just hope that you don't lose this employee.

Pretty disappointed that they don’t sell any cakes or desserts in their “locked display” counter after 5pm.
Put a sign there then to let all customers know so people don’t waste their time standing there waiting.
I stood there waiting for someone to come only to find out from someone else that there is no one to help me after 5pm.
Thankfully the manager of the store (Mr. Murdoch) came and save the day.
P/S: please stock up on your party supplies at the cake area.

There are certain items (asian instant noodles from Indonesia and Thailand, beef/lamb kofte, bread and Spanish olives) that are only available here in the island or in IGA so that would be mostly why I shop here.
Prices for certain vegetables/fruits are sometimes the same price if not cheaper than Provigo.
Le mari loves this supermarket the most, he says that it just feels good stepping in to IGA and the service is always better than other comparable supermarkets.
