Terrible experience with the manager. I went in to buy a loaf of bread. I made my selection and went to the cash. The loaf rang in at a higher price. The cashier looked scared when I reminder her of the rules of the accurate pricing policy. She said she couldn't give me the loaf for free (since it was below $10) She called the manager over and the manager simply said no and that she doesn't follow that law. I reminded her that it wasn't her choice, it's there to protect the consumer. She flat out said no again. Needless to say, I will not be going back there.

Although I really like that I can find products here that I can't elsewhere, prices are nearly double those of other grocery stores & some of the food (especially fruits & vegetables) is often rotten... I don't mind paying a little extra for convenience & a wider selection, but I am getting a little tired of buying $6 worth of strawberries only to have to throw 3/4 of them out... Also, cashiers always seem to be in a bad mood. The rest of the staff is very friendly.

Never have sale items in stock. Produce often rotten or in process of rotting. No longer has butcher and therefore meat selection is very limited (and hardly any fish). The owner is very sullen, looks stressed/depressed and not welcoming at all. Only friendly person is chef. Female (co-manager) is fair (e.g., will give you a rain check). Cashier is afraid to say anything which tells you a lot about the place. Wish people who like serving customers would buy the store because location is good.

A wonderful little store with tremendous service. Every time I shop here, I feel welcomed and treated like a king. There are a wide range of products available here, including freshly made, with a distinctly Eastern European bent. I've tried so many new, at least for me, and delicious things because of this grocery store.

It's a good place to go if you just need a couple of items, or basics in between big grocery store hauls. It is very over-priced compared to other grocery stores. 3.99 for a can of pringles, when they are 2.79 at Metro (and often on sale for cheaper) The same goes for a lot of other items. They never have sales on stuff unlike larger chain grocery stores. But like I said, if you need bread and eggs and beer its good. The cashier's and staff seem very nice.

Good variety of products, nice place, could be cleaner, but the service was awful, I mean that we never felt that bad in a public place before. Some agresive employees.

I bought Portugal chicken and pies. It was so delicious and like a homemade meal. I am satisfied and I will go there again.

Clean, friendly, quiet local market at the corner of NDG and Decarie. The owner helped me find the Bovril and also ran the caisse. I found this market such a calm relief after the busy jostling at Metro in Westmount. For 16,21$CAD, I purchased Bovril, pot yoghurts, sour cream, and plastic lids. I will price compare and return.
