Sid Helischauer has been an entrepreneur for 30 years, prior to that he managed companies with hundreds of employees. Sid teamed up with one of Calgary most experienced brokers with over 30 years of experience focusing on helping businesses. Jeff Vathje is an established senior Benefits professional with extensive experience in the corporate and consulting worlds. He has over 25 years of executive, senior management HR experience across all facets of Human Resources with an emphasis in the HR Strategy, total rewards (executive and employee), HRIS, payroll, and pension domain. He has worked as a senior leader with major corporations such as Western Energy Services, Enerplus, EnCana, Agrium, and the Canadian Wheat Board. He also has extensive consulting experience with JVHR Consulting, Mercer and Aon Hewitt. His vast industry experience in Canada and the US provides an invaluable perspective on client issues pertaining to HR.   Jeff is a strategic HR consultant who has led a number of successful HR initiatives in HR Services, Employee Benefits design and implementation, Executive Compensation, Total Rewards and Human Resources Effectiveness. Examples of major projects include: benefit design and implementation, flexible benefit management, long term incentive design, acquisition integration, HR service delivery model development, HRIS implementation, total reward philosophy development and comprehensive executive and employee compensation design.   As a recognized industry leader Jeff is a frequent speaker on compensation and HR topics with HR associations and educational institutions including the University of Calgary’s Management Certificate program.
