R	Rob Carry on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think it is disgusting to force people to make an appointment on line. As a matter of fact I will look for another cardiologist. Not being able to reach his office by phone is downright ridiculous.

M	Mit M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute lack of respect for time. Heart specialist. Got the appo after a few months. Appo was at 10:30am. Asked reception approximate delay. She guesses 20 min. Dr. Was already with a patient. That patient came out at 10:50 am. Asked the receptionist how many more. There were 2 more. If you put things together, at least another 1 hour and 10 min more. Altogether he is late by 1 hour and 40 min. Lack of timeliness to this extent indicates indiscipline with will lead to carelessness and cannot be relied upon. This not a review of quality as I cancelled the appointment to commit to my scheduled items.
M	Matthew Demeter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Darcel has been my mainstay Cardiologist since 2009. I have watched as he has always taken time to give each patient the necessary time their care requires. This can translate into longer than anticipated wait times, as he never rushes his patients; but it is worth the wait. His first question is always "How are you feeling?" He is up to date on all the latest cardiovascular research, but does not give in to every new panicky published paper, but rather blends his field experience prudently with the new data. He also doesn't seem to take a lot of personal time, as he has on a number of occasions called me at home, on the weekend to discuss nuances of my condition or concerns he has. His staff is always kind and understanding. Once when I forgot my appointment time and was late by an hour they still allowed me to wait until Dr. Darcel had a few spare minutes to see me. Although it was an embarrassing discovery on my part they didn't feel the need to rub it in.

His office is well run, service is prompt and covers everything that is needed. We have never experienced long delays and always found him to be thoughtful and willing to impart knowledge.

He took the time to explain everything to me and is very gentle and reassuring in his approach. I feel I am in good hands in his care and am grateful to have him as part of my medical team.
