β β β β β We had a fabulous time here today. The waiter was friendly, attentive and pleasant. He had to deal with 6 ladies catching up on life. I had the New-Hattan Seafood Chowder baby clams / haddock / salmon / shrimp / cream / tomato / potato / celery / red pepper / crispy breaded haddock / roasted garlic & cheddar scone and it was delicious, hot but not scalding, and a fair sized portion. I also had the East Meets East fried pork and shrimp wontons / Halifax donair sauce. I wasn't a fan of the sweet sauce and in hindsight could have asked for a savory sauce, but the wontons were tasty on their own. For dessert I had their inhouse cheesecake which was fluffy and light and I had it drizzled with caramel sauce. Overall a great lunch and I will happily return for dinner in the future.

I had the French onion soup and their recommended buttermilk chicken burger, letβs just say your taste buds will be blown away. Crispy, delicious and the flavours, amazing
They also have an amazing spinach and artichoke dip as starter and also delicious

β β β β β Excellent food, great menu selection & friendly service. Great atmosphere. Indoor seating chairs were beyond uncomfortable but the patio seating looked great. Would eat here again!!

β β β β β We were in the city for the marathon, but drove out here after for food since the reviews were so good. Hunter's didn't disappoint!! We found the service to be exceptional, the beer terrific and the food was exactly what we needed. We'll be back!

β β β β β This was one of the best restaurant experiences Iβve been to in a long time. We sat outside on the patio on a beautiful evening, with our 2 year old daughter. Very child friendly but with a fantastic menu for both adults and children. The club sandwich was VERY generous and great. The French onion soup was traditional and delicious! 5 starts. You get your moneyβs worth, thatβs for sure.
Gabrielle, our server, made us feel so welcome! It was so nice to be served by someone so friendly! She made our evening 10 times better.
We will %100 be back on our next visit to Ottawa.

β β β β β Really impressed by this place! Great food, nice vibe (an outdoor patio!) and entertainment. We didnβt stay for the Thursday trivia but it was fun talking to the host who was going around to see if people were interested - prize changes every week but it looked like a big box of goodies for when we were there. Small place so we were in a rush to finish our meal because we were at a table that was already reserved (would recommend making a reservation because there arenβt a lot of tables). It also stated getting harder to hear the longer we stayed - but thatβs normal for a pub. Highly recommend the buttermilk fried chicken Sammy (I think thatβs what it was called?) with the beet walnut salad on the side. Will be back!
