★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staying at the Hummingbird cottage was awesome! Its a large space, well kept , tidy , and had everything i needed to make it feel like home . The wildlife there is incredible! What seems to be flocks of humming birds , butterflies , and quite a bit of other wildlife. The cottage sits on a beautiful garden terraced down towards the water so there is a great veiw from your room and cottages sun room .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother and I rented this cottage(more like a small house)on Texada Island in July 2018 for a week. We could not have been more satisfied. My mom had her own bedroom. I slept in the den that had a futon. We were very comfortable and had our own space. The cottage is 900 sq. ft. The kitchen is huge. The house is well equipped with supplies. There is even a washer and dryer. Kristin, our host, was so lovely and generous with her time and her row boat. She even showed us her incredible home. The cottage has a beautiful view overlooking the ocean and pier. The price is unbeatable for this cottage. This cottage would be ideal for a couple, friends or a family of 3 or 4.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I stayed at Hummingbird Cottage last weekend. It is delightfully situated with an ocean view and a charming garden complete with comfy chairs and a fire pit. The inside of the cottage is immaculate and spacious. The bed was comfortable. This is one of the most charming cottages we’ve stayed in. It would be a good place to stay for a week or longer. The kitchen is really well equipped. The hosts are welcoming and charming too. We certainly would stay here again.
