Awesome destination for a week of camping with the kids. It doesn't get better than this...next to no one there, free firewood, hot showers, quiet, great playground for the kids, beautiful hiking trails that the kids (ages 3-9) loved and had no problems hiking, etc. Pat and her staff were great hosts and take very good care of the park. The town is only a couple kms away so we also enjoyed swimming at the pool, visiting the heritage park, ice cream, baking, etc. I highly recommend making this a destination for a few days at least. Note, there is another section to the regional park (Ruby Lake, which is North of town) they also have sites with alot of privacy and power but it seemed like that was all. The best place to camp is the regional park just South of town.

This is a real hidden gem of the SK regional parks. Great facilities and campsites. Short distance from town that has all services. The hiking trails are quite remarkable as are the newly painted murals. Well worth a visit.

What an incredible camp ground. Very family oriented! Best place in the area for kids. Clean friendly no over bearing rules! Great for events and gatherings. Only draw back is theres no city water connection at the power supply but they do have a hose that should reach every site.

What a beautiful, relaxing, serene park with the perfect mix of modern amenities & rustic nature. The hiking paths are beautifully maintained! But it's the little things that make this park so special, like the overlook on the hiking trail that has a picnic table & firepit (that is always fully stocked with wood :) ) so you can stop for lunch on your hike. Or the murals on the wall in the playground,. Or the sand toys in the playground, you don't get that in a provincial park. The campsites in 15amp are large & private. I love that the firewood is in the campground just steps away from your campsite, they keep it fully stocked everyday. The campground feels remote & right in nature, yet you're just a short drive away from town. The fishing is great!! The shower building is clean & has warm showers. The Ruby part of the campground has very private campsites & a beautiful beach! This park is very special!! We will be going back for sure!!!
