It was a beautifully calm night, loads of space to ourselves. Heard a sea lion off in the distance. Made for a perfect New Year's date.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our favourite place for fun and relaxation. Short drive from Nanaimo. Mix of sand and pebble. Large drift wood logs. Pretty view towards the mainland mountains.

Haven't been to this access in a long time. So the block off was a surprise. Use the available parking at the bottom of Harper Street.
