We absolutely love this place. The beach is always clean. Parking lots are always clean and manicured. There's always ample room even if it's busy. They do have outdoor bathrooms that are always clean and stocked with clean tap water and soap in the dispensers. They are always adding fresh gravel to keep the roads smooth and safe from potholes. This is a family favorite go to location.

We went it was empty but it was cool out that day with a bit of mist rain in the air. We enjoyed our time and a must do again trip. Beach was clean of garbage and wildlife was nice to see on the trails through the park. October is a great time to see the season fall asleep for the winter... trip added for repeat!

Dare I share?? Outstanding beauty of water & woods, so lush & breathtaking, all within the outskirts of Hamilton! The town of Dunnsville holds it’s own charm of farmlands and rural beauty. The park has camping, trails for cycling & hiking with a general store/gift shop and ample picnic areas. Rocky shoreline, seashells abound & crashing waves all transpire you to a tropical paradise instead of this stunning Ontario Provincial park. By far, my most adored beach.

If you are a fossil lover, this is the place to come to. The beach is also very nice. We had an excellent walk along the beach and saw many interesting fossils plus you get a good view of the abandoned lighthouse on Mohawk Island.

Beautiful park right on the lake which made for a nice trail that loops along the beach and through the forest. There are plenty of camp sites, basic and powered offered and park rules enforced which would make for a peaceful camping experience I am sure. There is a store within the park as well which offer food, drinks and ice cream.

Went to Rock Point recently and had a great time! The park is beautiful with big lots and a beautiful beach! I had a fun time looking at the fossil located on the beach. Would definitely go back again!

First time at Rock Point PP. Campsites are a decent size and each one fully faces the road/opposite site, so most people set up with the trailer or tent facing inward for privacy. Mostly grassy sites with a couple of large trees, but muddy when it has rained. We camped in Minor campground, #72 and a dog friendly site. Comfort stations are clean and well maintained. Beach is nice, mostly pebbly/rocky so water shoes recommended. Grass is quite long in most of the park/day use area, so wear long pants or do a thorough check afterwards for ticks. Signage needs some work and maps are not at all to scale - no signs for each campground, only site numbers, no signs for no dogs until you reach the beach, trail not well marked. They also only seem to sell birch firewood $9/bag, which burns pretty fast... Great park and would return!

Great spot to go camping. Nice beach that is never busy. Easily accessible from camp sites by walking down a short path. Towards end of beach there are fun rocks to explore and climb on as well as a great lookout point. We always have a good time camping here!
