Sprint was contacted to do the electrical on our new home. They did not install a number of items on call back refused to come. If you want good honest service DO NOT USE SPRINT.

We’ve had Sprint do a couple of wiring jobs for us. They have completed quality work in a timely and professional manner. I would not hesitate to use them in the future

While looking for electricians in the area, I was encouraged to check out Sprint Electrical by a friend. However, my short experience ended up lackluster. In particular was their inability to reply in a timely manner. When I did get through to them, the individual on the phone spoke as if the conversation they were having with me was irritating them. Suffice to say I have looked elsewhere to find an electrician. As well, after seeing some of these reviews, I wonder if I dodged a bullet in the long run? Especially worrying are reports of added expenses/hidden fees and not returning appropriate deposits for cancelled work.

When looking for electrical work, look elsewhere, their reviews tell it all. Happy to take money and slow to return it when work isn't completed to standard. Promises prices before site visits to make their pricing seem competitive. All to suddenly change once arriving. wasting time for customers who could have had an honest company come in for the work. Completely unsatisfactory to take advantage of people whom need such expensive electrical work done. Just looking at their reviews we should have known better. Do not hire them and if they are already in your home kick them out!

I hired Sprint Electrical in November 2021 to provide and install a generator at my home in Sooke. I was told I must pay a $6000 deposit up front as the generators were in such high demand and hard to get ahold of, however this was before a site consultation. About a month later they sent electricians out to assess the installation, come to find out they are going to have to do a ton more work than I was quoted for and leave my house with holes and wires and and new panels cut into my walls and not finished. I spoke with sprint and said due to the above, I would not be able to go through with the install and requested a refund for my deposit. I was told they would have to contact the company in Ontario to find out if that was possible and asked to leave it with them a couple days. 10 days later I still haven’t heard anything so I contact again, to find out that they had shipped the generator back and I’d be receiving my refund soon. Months go by of me asking where the refund is, finally today, I receive a cheque in the mail for less than HALF of the refund and an invoice claiming a 20% restocking fee, two $750 shipping fees, and a $300 visit fee. None of which had ever been discussed at any point, and if these fees were actually a thing, they obviously should have informed me before sending the unit back. If they were in such high demand that I had to pay such a large deposit up front why would they send it back instead of installing for another customer. I could have sold the unit myself instead of being gouged over $3000 for literally nothing. Do NOT do business with these people, they are corrupt and disgusting people. I am currently taking them to court. Would give a 0 star review if possible.

Sprint Electrical Services was the electrical contractor on our new house build. During the build, they were very responsive to our special requests for electrical, networking, sound and security services within our new home. They even came up with suggestions to make the house 'future proof' for the next owners! We thoroughly enjoyed working with them. After completion of construction, they have been good working through the last touch-ups as we get little items fixed, etc. Yes, there have been time delays due to the pandemic, supply chain issues, etc. but Paul and the team have been responsive and kept us in the loop as to what was happening. The electricians who work with us have been professional, on time to appts and very willing to explain the ins and outs of the work being completed -- why it has to be done this way or alternatives to meet our needs. Sprint also helped us apply for rebates for our EV Charger from the local and provincial governments. As with all trades these days, they are extremely busy so we understood that it could take time to get them to our place for work, but again, they were good about keeping us in the loop. We also like the fact that can act as a 'one-stop-shop' for a number of services such as electrical, security, in-home vacuum, audio, networking, etc. etc. A great team.

Needed a generator for our home to keep medical devices running during power outages. Called Sprint, they recommended one and said they had 5 in stock and could install within 2-3 weeks. They asked for an upfront deposit to reserve a generator for us. We paid several thousand dollars and didn't hear from them for weeks. We followed up many times, finally they sent out two men for a consultation. They noted it would cost much more than the initial $10000 we were quoted because of additional work they'd have to do. We opted not to move forward at their recommendation and were told we would receive a full refund. 5 months later and countless emails and phone calls we got a refund for less than half of what we paid for a deposit due to "returning the generator, restocking and our apparently not complimentary consultation." They told us many times they'd sent a cheque and did not. We have everything documented in writing from Sprint emails and filed for court today. I'd recommend doing business with ANYONE ELSE on the island and never ever paying an upfront deposit regardless of the reason they give you. Shame on you sprint, what a nightmare you've created for us just by being dishonest and greedy.

I hired Sprint to take over a partially completed (by another contractor, who I let go from the job) 200amp service upgrade and they were a great company to deal with, in all respects. They were extremely professional, showed up when they said they would, did efficient/tidy/professional work, kept the job on budget, and their communication was very clear through the whole process from quoting to job completion. I was so impressed that I didn't hesitate to call them back shortly after completing our service upgrade to run power to a heat pump we had installed. I will be calling them for all future work, and would highly recommend their services.
