He was able to help us easily identify what needed work on our new home and where we could focus our efforts. He went above and beyond, making sure that he was able to assess our attic space and flat roof despite some difficulty with access.

He walked me through the process and answered my questions even though I was not yet fully committed to using their services. On the day of the inspector, Clark, the actual inspector assigned was punctual, and very thorough with his inspection. He responded to all our concerns/questions and we had the report available on the same day.

Initially I only wanted a price quote, but was very impressed with the prompt communication. He was easy to contact, and seemed to genuinely want the best for his clients. As a first time home buyer I was very anxious, Michael was very professional, on time, and definitely very knowledgeable in his field of work. He preferred his clients to tag along during the inspection, which I'm actually glad I did. I opened my notes app on my iPhone and was taking lots of photos and making notes throughout the inspection. He provided some tips and suggestions that are nice to know as a home owner, but not mandatory in the inspection. He explained inspection jargon and concepts easily into layman terms that I could comprehend. I felt comfortable even asking stupid questions. After the inspection, I definitely felt more knowledgeable and aware of my home's condition. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

Michael got back to me right away and explained the inspection process and details carefully. He was very thorough and even offered to honour a discount that had ended, which was much appreciated. I decided not to look into any other companies after my call with Michael, so I went ahead with scheduling the inspection, and my preferred timeslot was readily available. Details and payment links were all shared promptly prior to the inspection. On the day of the inspection, Clark arrived early and was very thorough in his inspections. He shared his findings with us after each floor, taking great care to explain everything where needed. He had no hesitations on moving some things around to get to where he needed and finished the job on time. He also accommodated a last-minute asbestos testing without issue and had all the tools with him. Upon receiving the report the following day, it contained all of Clark's findings, explained in detail with pictures. As he had summarized the main points during the inspection, we were able to easily understand the 50+ page report. Overall, it was a great experience having Michael and Clark from HouseMaster manage our first-ever home inspection. The level of standard and professionalism that they provided was of the highest value and I will definitely continue to use them if needed in the future!

HouseMaster was recommended by some of my colleagues when I needed to book an inspection urgently. Michael was very responsive, explained the process, addressed my concerns, and the inspection was booked in no time with a very short notice. The home inspection was performed by Clark. He arrived at the property before the scheduled time, did a quick walk through with me (the broker) and when my clients arrived, he performed the full inspection, addressing my clients concerns along the way, answering their questions and providing advice. Clark was knowledgeable, thorough and very patient. Although the weather was pretty extreme (-20C) and the property quite cluttered, Clark did his best to access all areas that needed to be inspected. I highly recommend HouseMaster!
