Super disappointed to the club! I am a new member joined this year who is playing snow boarding. Today is the first trip for me in the club. An instructor told me I'm in beginner level and I should wait at beginner area for the classes. He accompanied me to the beginner area and told me he is going to get some one help me. Then he just went away. I just wait there like some stupid person for half an hour, and I didn't see any instructor from HPSC. I asked help from ski instructor in HPSC. All he can say is " I don't know". Finally, I saw snow boarding instructors, and started my classes. But actually, she just stand there with words" I'm going to help you" then watched me fall. I called down on my back and My neck feels uncomfortable, but no one cares!!! I called HPSC president, as he said I can get help from him whenever I have a problem for HPSC. But the president didn't keep his promises, either! Well! It is a extremely bad experience I ever had! Clearly, the club is not beginner welcomed!

I am a downhill skier but recently decided to try cross country and put myself in the hands of High Park's Snow School. The lesson I had was excellent. My instructor, Emma, started out slowly, explaining the basics and had us practice each step. When she figured we were ready, she would gradually add in another skill to the point where, when the lesson was finished, I felt confident enough to try it on my own in the afternoon. I have to say that tracking through a snow covered woods is a nice way to spend a day and was made that more enjoyable by a very good lesson!

High Park Ski Club has changed my life! Amazing trips to the best ski resorts of the world (from Quebec and Rockies to Alps), safe and fun lessons to learn and improve skills in winter sport and many friends for life time! After 10 plus years of volunteering I've also learned new professions and skills that enhanced my life and brought even more loyal friends to my life. The quality of active life with amazing people - priceless!

I have now been with this club for almost 10 years and love it. I started as a low intermediate skier who was too cheap to take lessons and took the club's free ski lessons and have progressed to ski almost any mountain. My husband and I used to try to ski together before we joined the club, but we were different levels and skied apart, and usually alone. With the club, we skied with new friends of our own levels and met again at lunch and après-ski. With all the lessons I've been taking, we are sking together and loving it. I highly recommend this club.

Joining HPSC was the best decision I’ve made since moving to Toronto. It’s such a tremendous value with the ski lessons and discounted trail passes. Also, as someone without a car, I wouldn’t be able to do what I love without the organized bus transportation to the various resorts. It’s also been a great way to meet like-minded people and have a lot fun together.

High Park Ski Club has changed my life for the better. I had never skied in my life before joining High Park, but I decided to give it a go... and I knew from my first day trip that this club was amazing! High Park gave me free lessons on every trip, an easy way to get to the hills from downtown Toronto, and affordable opportunities to travel worldwide. I made many friends on the buses, and look forward to every winter weekend. By the end of my second year with High Park, I became good enough to pass my instructor certification. Since then I've moved out West and back again, and have taken up many volunteer roles in the club. The club keeps its prices low by being volunteer-run and non-profit. The club runs test drive days where non-members can try it out and get a feel for the experience. Hope to ski with you!

I love it! I joined the club when I moved to Toronto. It is a great place to meet likeminded people and to ski. I am a downhill skier, and I tried cross-country skiing this season. I had an amazing instructor. There were four of us in the group- all beginners, and she was very patient and thought us the basics. I would highly recommend snow school to everyone!
