Our doodle Sally has come home from a 9 day stay and is happy but tired, LOL Do not hesitate to send your dog to this great place. This was her 2nd stay . We are now considering changing groomers to Houndaway.

Excellent doggy daycare and boarding. Our Nova loves going to HoundAway to see all her friends and the staff. They are great to get her in on short notice and take great care of her while daycare and boarding. Would recommend to any dog owner and have recommended several friends. Thank you HoundAway staff for taking great care of Nova!

Staff working are polite and professional. Unfortunately owner is not and recognizes it is a purely a business and your pets are purely a source of income. If you are dependant on this service because you work long hours then this is not the place for you. The pick-up/drop-off service is subject to cancellation at a moments notice. They have one staff member for this and do not take consideration for that staff members needs of holidays, sick time, vacation, and emergencies preventing them from working…The owner could easily hire another worker but that would take away from profits. Please do not rely on them as your substitute caretaker for your pets unless you are available to drop everything and pick them up at moments notice! They see your pet as $ and not family, do not be fooled

I felt so disrespected as a customer at this place that I won't give it a second chance. I had booked a boarding service for my dog a few weeks ago and yesterday was supposed to be the first day on boarding. I filled the forms, signed waivers and everything was confirmed, so I took my dog, her food and bed to this place. As soon as I entered the premises, a woman approached me and seemed to be surprised that I took my dog there. She said that the boarding was cancelled due to an employee that got sick. She said they called me in regards to that, which is not true, since nobody tried to call me. I understand that people get sick, and I have no problems with that, however, the way they handled that put me on a very tough situation, since I was counting on their service. What if this happened to someone heading to the airport for their flight? This could have ruined one's plans... I am very lucky to have people who could help me deal with this, and one thing is for sure: I'll never trust a place to leave my dog if they don't respect their customers.

So thankful to have found Hound A Way! My little guy Pete is super hyper and wasn’t getting enough stimulation at home even with 2 long walks a day, toys and laps in the backyard! He’s always excited to be dropped off and comes home happy and tuckered out. Thank you for taking such great care ?

They treat our mutt like she was their own. They're kind, interested and attentive. Our pup gets so excited when she knows she's going and comes back happy, content and exhausted. They also offer grooming services and tidied up our scruffy little girl beautifully. Can't heap enough praise on them.

When you decide to take your dog to boarding is because you CANNOT stay with them for a period due to work, travel, etc. Well, a boarding appointment was done at HoundAway weeks prior and everything was confirmed. At the time my dog was being dropped off for her boarding, they informed us they would not be able to take her due to lack of staff. Yes, things like this can happen, but there were NO CALLS, NO E-MAILS or any other kind of communication informing about it, which would allow some sort of mitigation. It was literally dumped on us when she arrived there, and NO SOLUTION WAS PROVIDED/suggested whatsoever. This is unacceptable! Completely lack of respect for customer, completely lack of empathy, and IRRESPONSIBLE business behavior with direct impact on peoples and animals life and wellbeing. I wonder how the dogs that were already on boarding were being handled. Were they left alone? Were they providing the services the owners hired and payed for? Anyway, if a business is so ill prepared that cannot handle their core business because of 1 employee not being able to work, how can I trust my pet is being well taken care of? It is definitely NOT the place I will be taking my dog.

Love it! All dogs and owners are vetted before acceptance to the facility. Very clean and well supervised. Owners and staff are definitely 'dog people'. My Great Dane has fun and comes home happy. His manners around other dogs has improved due to increased socialization.
