★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for a family Easter dinner. Understandably, quite busy. Well worth the short wait. Great buffet, including ham, turkey, beef and even lamb. Exquisite dessert table which included 3 different baked cakes, cheesecake, and an unreal Crème Brule. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Great dinner!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at the hotel for one night and the service we received on May 29 by the front desk staff was excellent. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and even allowed us to put our e-bikes in their storage space so we didn’t have to worry about them being stolen the bed was super comfortable and our king room was perfect. We had breakfast the next morning which was good as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food and beverage with lovely room service. Wonderful restaurant and very pretty rooms Swimming pool on location so bring your swimsuit! Slightly pricey. Be prepared for a bit of a bill. Pool tables in the bar so bring your best game and a pocket full of loonies! Fun place. Down to earth. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room was very clean and well put together. The shower had excellent pressure and a great showerhead. The hotel also has several programs aimed at reducing their ecological footprint, such as not laundering bedding and towels every day, which I appreciated. You always have the option to signal for things in your room to be laundered, however, if they need it.
An overall excellent experience for a very reasonable price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've stayed at this hotel a number of times over the past two years. Most recently, I was there for a 15 day stay. I have never had a negative experience in all the times I've stayed there.
I would rate my most recent experience in particular a perfect 10/10. The room was quiet and comfortable, the entire staff were friendly and helpful, and the amenities available on site were awesome (Other Side pub in particular). The hotel is also conveniently located close to the Chinook Mall, several breweries, and the C-Train station. Airport transportation is also available.
I also found that there was very good value for the the nightly rate. I always choose to stay at Hotel Blackfoot when I'm in town and will certainly continue to do so. I recommend anyone looking for friendly, quiet and affordable accommodations in Calgary to do the same.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Potent Horseradish! I've been to a few private functions here where they served a roast. (Holiday parties in years past) And I must say this establishment has about the most potent horseradish I've ever had. If you ever go here, use the horseradish sparingly at first and add to taste. It's amazing. I've had to warn other guests who did not heed my warnings and were shocked by the kick. I am looking forward to being able to go to the restaurant again as a couple and ordering something that is served with that horseradish on the side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While I stayed in this hotel years ago and had a great experience, this review is specifically for the Lobby Lounge, which I love to dine at.
You need to try the tomato soup - it will change your LIFE!
The soup is more of a thick bisque, and comes with a delightful mini ham melt on the side. I had no idea tomato soup could be this good! And for only $12, you will be full and satisfied. The rest of their menu looks great as well, but I have never been able to convince myself to get anything other than the tomato soup.
The lobby lounge is nice and peaceful, with lots of space and tables to choose from. It feels very relaxing to be there, with lots of natural light and large windows all around.
If you are in the area looking for a nice, quick lunch, give them a try!
