Awesome little rest stop, they have started to charge $2 for parking, but have made many improvements recently, so we were fine with it. Its a good hike to the bottom of the canyon and back up, and if so inclined you can certainly go further and spend more time. Beautiful place!

I've been to Drumheller many times but never came from this direction before. What a beautiful place. Great place to hike, camp, eat icecream, have a picnic, or just enjoy the views. Make sure to go to more than one viewing point as you do get a different picture. Gorgeous and peaceful. Like something fell from the sky in just this very spot as there is farmland all around it. Worth the trip!

A must stop when traveling between Drumheller and Calgary. It is absolutely stunning and so serene. There are plenty of trails for people looking to explore or blow off some steam. As always, we enjoyed our visit.

Great place for easy hiking, and gives out a magnificent views over the canyon! It was a little smoky when I went, but it was still unbelievable! If you want to venture into the canyon, make sure to bring water and appropriate shoes!

Amazing, Beautiful views of the badlands. The hike down & up is steep, wear good shoes but the trip to the bottom is worth it. Hike is great for the whole family, my littles (4, 7 & 17) all enjoyed it. You can explore to your own comfort level, it’s hot at the bottom so I would recommend water & a hat. Amazing spots at the bottom for a picnic, you can easily spend 3-4 hours at the bottom

Took my pup for almost 10km. Great scenery. Not my first trip here, definitely not my last and never gets old.

Great area to explore with the kids and out of shape parents :). Bring water and hats, can get pretty hot out there even on a 20 degree day. Nice view point and picnic area before heading down into the canyon.

Such unique landscape. Bit of a steep incline to get into/out of the canyon, but well worth the effort. We were here in the spring time so the early wildflowers were in bloom. Crocus, shooting star and many others. Cactus are plentiful.
