Denzil , located in West-central Saskatchewan, was incorporated as a village in 1911.  Denzil  has a population of 141 people.  We’re an active, friendly community known for our volunteerism.  Denzil is a neat and tidy village with many trees and flowers thanks to our Communities in Bloom Committee.  We have several businesses which provide our basic needs.

Denzil has many physical attractions: a park/playground, campground with 28 sites – 10 full service, trout pond, an impressive church with stained glass windows, museum, a newly landscaped lot downtown named Cornerbrook.  A walking trail was opened in 2009. The village also has high speed internet.

Our Community boasts various clubs, organizations, businesses and individuals all working to keep it viable.  We have several annual events some of which are: the Fall fair, Community Days, Steak & Lobster supper and dance, Bones Tournament including supper, curling and discing bonspiels to name a few.

Denzil’s main industries, farming and oil production are the economic backbone of the area, and the people are its heart and soul.
