Chris is absolutely amazing ! I came in with a couple of nicks and scratches on the lugs of my Ball timepiece and Chris did an amazing job of polishing it ! He took less than a day to do it and the result is phenomenal! It's great to know that we have a great watchmaker in the Montreal community !! The price he charged was more than reasonable, not forgetting to mention how charismatic and cool he is ! I finally know who I can go to for all my watch needs! Huge thumbs up for any Montreal looking to get some work done on precious timepieces !

Chris did an excellent job with my Explorer II 16570. I can't be more pleased. If you're looking for a passionate and experienced watchmaker in Montreal, he's your guy!

Chris was fantastic with my watch. It hadn't been serviced for over 50 years! Not only did Chris service my father's watch, he patiently responded to questions I asked about the details of the service, and even showed me, and explained how some of his electronic equipment worked. Extremely thorough, and professional. Furthermore, my watch was completed much earlier than anticipated. You can trust Chris to repair your luxury watch as if it was his own. Thanks Chris!

Rarely review this sort of things but everybody else here is smoking crack or his standards went down. Gave him the watch and quoted me verbally. Two weeks later, i had to send 3 emails to remind him to send me a written quote. He ended up being as expensive as ROLEX (his 875$ and rolex 950$ for a full service). He only works 1 week out of two. Cannot give you a timeframe. I came back to pick up my watch as i refused his services and he threw my gold day date on the the plastic counter, as if he gave me back a keychain.

After my watchmaker died in 2018, I had nobody to repair my beloved vintage Vulcain watch. I decided recently to finally give it a go again and do a search. I tried going online even willing to ship it out, to no avail. Nobody wanted to repair the watch. A lot of these “watchmakers” can’t actually problem solve and fix a watch, I can switch out my own battery and strap thank you very much. I brought 3 watches over (2 were functioning but I inherited old watches and wanted to know if it needed servicing). Chris was very transparent (even from the email exchanges), he took a look at all 3 watches, he’s been in the game for 7 years, he knows his stuff and I value and respect good craftsmanship. Also, he doesn't work on fakes. He was upfront about 2 watches being okay just a bit delayed in time (put it on the machine and all) and looked into the other that needed actual repair that 4 other watchmakers did not want to touch. He took it apart in front of me, explained what was wrong, explained mechanics of the watch and checked with a supplier if the part could be ordered (thankfully it could). In the email exchanges and in person he assured me he wouldn't go ahead and do any major changes without checking in with me first. And pronto! We’re in business. FYI, if you're wondering why other watchmakers will charge less for a full service like 70$, it's because they do a less complete job. Chris will take it apart and clean and use diff oils for diff parts, true specialty. UPDATE: my watch had a lot of complications, previous watchmakers did quite a number on it, some pieces were even missing. Chris was patient and honest the entire time, I managed to find a donor watch for it which he serviced and put in and all is working fantastic. If you want good work and an honest man to trust with your watches, this is it! He stands by his work, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my watches.

I had two watches to repair, both hand-me-downs. My mother gave me my father's Rolex Oysterdate back when he died, about 2001. He had a jewelry and watch shop and also a small farm. He said the Rolex was the only watch that could stand the pounding he gave it while driving fence posts into the ground. Nether this nor the Omega my wife's aunt gave me after her husband died had ever been cleaned or serviced, so they both stopped about the same time and needed cleaning/servicing. Chris has done a great job at 2/3 the price quoted by Hemsley's Jewelers. They are both running well now. He gave me an approximate value too, for both of them, when I asked. Very good value and a great job. One suggestion: When 'regulating' (setting the timing) why don't you hold the temperature at "wrist temperature" during the operation, to maximize the accuracy? The Rolex loses time very slightly when it is warmer and this would avoid me having to adjust it again, now that I have it back.

Chris will do a great job at servicing your automatic watch. I've had the pleasure of him working on my Rolex Air King 5500 and Explorer II 16570. My watches were running like new afterwards. He is highly recommended and provides a great service at a good price!

If you have any work to be done on your watch, this is the place to go! Chris is very professional and passionate about his work, and it shows in the quality of the service he gives. He changed the batteries for 3 watches and replaced the crystal on another one within 30min. I highly recommend his shop, even if it might be a little hard to find, since his shop is not a boutique on the street, but a suite in a building. I will definitely come back anytime I need something watch related!
