★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very conscientious about Covid and germ warfare. Expect (when you visit) that you’ll need a room # and name to tell the guard at the front entrance. Been visiting daily for almost 3 weeks and staff have been consistently kind, helpful and efficient!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dirty hospital: when I entered to this hospital I started couging today. Many used tissues were on the floor. I was unable to stay on one spot because of insects. Hmm. This type of hospital? Awful. The cover of the chair in the examination room was too dirty: many back particles on the chair. It was very disgusting!!
Admission: A non professional lady asked my medicare card and I showed her. She yelled me I want to look at the expire date but your finger is on the date. She can ask this politely and not while yellig. She asked me card. I showed her my card. If she was unable to see the expire date of card, she can ask it in a professional way.
Doctor: She left the office before completing my conversation. I had refered there because of an accident and damage on my back and wound of my hand. Doctor did not let me explain my cases and she left. The nurse came there after around one hour and told that I should go to private clinic or my family doctor when I have emergencies. It is wierd!!! The nurse told that if I want to know my back is OK because of an accident or not, I must go to my family doctor or a private clinic. My question is : Emergency of a hospital is helping patients how? If a patient does not have a family doctor and there was an accident on sunday, how can a patient wait for a private clinic. Is their explanation logical? The golden time of operation of disc spine in the case of rupture is 24 hours!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an amazing experience at this hospital. Dr. Castano and Dr. Salek are fantastic in their fields. From the start, (Flora, at admittance) the staff at the hospital were kind and empathetic.
The emergency ward was full as usual and the staff , inhumanely busy. A revolving door of patients flowed through and yet, they took the time to listen and were able to alleviate my pain. Thank you for all that you do!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Insanely long wait time, because they want you to go somewhere else.
If you love your family avoid this hospital at all cost. Worst hospital with worst bedside manner. Sad to say Ive been a patient here for 28 years, plus the time I was a fetus. Do not recommend it to anyone. You will either get misdiagnosed or even worse yet die with improper treatment. Good luck if you have mental health issues all if the good doctors went private. There's is only one PAB here that actually does his job properly and he knows who he is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On Friday, February 25, I had to have a bladder sonogram for recurrent cystitis. I was lucky to meet a very good professional who, in addition to being attentive, patient, polite and kind, was able to go beyond her duties, with great professional and human quality.

Girlfriend was taken in by ambulance for fainting and not breathing. they did some test and made her wait outside with no jacket in the middle of winter. gave us no warning of letting her out. how could you possibly think that is okay as a hospital. Genuinely think they all need to go back to school. Scrap the entire hospital and try again. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disgusting. The 2 people in line in front of me were able to go into the hospital accompanied by someone. For our turn we were refused and had to go to a prenatal appointment alone even though the confirmation email encourages your partner to come and provincial guidelines allow this type of visitor. We had vaccine passports as specified by the email and still refused entry.
My first prenatal appointment i was refused entry to the hospital by security as well and had to go do my tests privately.
Please clarify how covid is still an excuse for treating patients this way??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to emergency with my son in crisis. Two hr wait to be seen and another five hrs to get admitted to short term care ward. Amazing. Extremely helpful nurses and doctors. Even though all beds were full everyone had someone check up on them periodically. Lots of staff and all helpful. Just be kind to them, you'll get the same back. These people are overworked and stretched thin. Hats off to them all during the whole pandemic.
