I am here at the ER for 5 hours and counting. Since several hours, I am the only one here waiting. Only one person was seen before me in 5 hours.

Went to the emergency. The triage nurse very sweet and very patient, then the doctor Dr Aharon Silverman was amazing (actually a doctor with bedside manners) very calm, very thorough very conscientious, the radiology department a very nice man, I did not feel rushed. He told me take your time he explained everything very well. I can seriously say that they were all amazing. Yes I waited 6 hours but that beyond their control as I saw one ambulance after another come in. Of course they had to take on ambulance patients first. So be patient.

Lasalle emergency department is the worst. Not only the wait time is take forever. But the so called doctors at the emergency are a nightmare. I went for my pregnancy complication but the doctor she was so weird. How come you don't know what to tell me. She was unsure about what should she tell me. And she wasn't at all Empathetic. I wish I knew her name so I would mention it. But she was the worse doctor one can have. These kind of doctors should sit home as they have no right to be called doctors

Hospitals in third world country are more professional. We came here in emergency at 8pm. It’s been 5 and half hours and since 2 and half hours they did not let a single person in. When asked they say there is only a single doctor inside. We left without seeing a doctor at 3am. Avoid emergency at this hospital!

WORST SERVICE of my life!! I came here on Saturday at 11:00 am for an emergency. I waited way too long for my turn to come. Then they called my name around 2:40 am in the morning after more than 16 hours. Then the doctor told me to take some blood and urine tests and told me to wait until my name is called again. After another 2 hours around 5:00am they called my name again and the doctor told me to take abdominal scan. But the radiology department opens at 8:00am in the morning and I waited again until 8:00am but they called me at 9:00 am. Finally, when I came to inform them about my scan the nurse told me they don't have my name in their list. They said the doctor closed the file. But why? They didn't have an idea. They told me to take the number again and wait for my turn. It means repeat the whole process again. I told them I've been waiting since 24 hours but they said they can't do anything. Alas!! The worst day of my life when I thought to come here. Biggest mistake ever!!

The emergency room wait was long but I suppose that is to be expected given the nature of emergency medical services and the triage they do. However, once I was seen the care was better than I had expected to get. The doctor was attentive and listened carefully, and they were exceptionally thorough with their testing. They did more tests than I had expected but as the doctor said: they wanted to rule out any other problems. I was given medication immediately to relieve some of the symptoms while I waited for results. In the end I got a far better service than I had gotten at the MGH or the Glen Site hospital for related issues. I went home with prescriptions that kept me comfortable while I was able to arrange for a specialist. Note I said _comfortable_... it's the first time in my life an ER doctor was concerned with my comfort than merely diagnosing.

The first time I was there was actually quite fine, i was well attended and given a lot of support with my pain. I was admitted to observation without question and was helped beyond what i had expected considering the reviews. There are good things to say, but there is a lot of negatives to overcome before this hospital can truly be great. But when it comes to the good, the doctor i saw did understand my anxiety and debrided the wound and removed the nail while i was sedated and went the extra mile just to make sure i was treated well and i experienced less pain here compared to a similar surgery anywhere else. .

The emergency wait room is absolutely dirty, with the high traffic this hospital has during a pandemic you would at least expect to see someone making sure the area is clean and maintained. Receptionist is absolutely rude to the patients, she has her earphones on so she has a hard time listening to the patients inquiries and barely replies. The wait room is full of people trying to easy pains they may be going through and the news channel is on in high volume. Very disappointing to see that in a first world hospital, a place where empathy should be a primary value and of course cleanliness shouldn’t even be questioned.
