Was a good place but dealing with Hilton and Hilton honors to get our money back has been painful. We used points to reserve this place. For some reason they took additional money on our credit card. I understand this as a hold which is normal but not to fully take the money and now we are fighting to get our money back. It's been almost 2 weeks now. Hilton Honors has done nothing and management at this hotel has also not helped. They tell us to talk to our bank but it's them that took the funds. Just a pain and the time wasted even more so.

Searched out this hotel due to it's on-site EV charging. But unfortunately I came to find out that only 1 of the non Tesla chargers is working... On top of that, they just allow any non EV to occupy the charging spaces at the rear of the building. The hotel management doesn't seem to understand that on site EV charging is important to EV owners and many seek out that benefit. But if most of them are broken and you just tell anyone they can occupy those spots, then EV owners will simply stay elsewhere.

Upon check in, I found out the pool was not in order. So temporarily closed. Something they failed to mention on their website when I booked. Because of that. My two other rooms of family that were coming in the following day moved their reservation to another hotel (we booked one to have a pool specifically) So I was left alone, away from my family. They also failed to inform me that room cleaning was not provided since I only had a two night stay. So when I got back very late. My room was not cleaned and in disarray because their cheap sheets came off the bed through the night. I have never had that happen to me at a hotel where the sheets wouldn’t stay on the bed. The blankets were also not done properly as it was dismantled so easily. I’ve never been to a hotel where blankets and sheets came apart this way. I’m not jumping and wrestling in the bed or anything! The two mornings I spent there, I had kindly asked the staff to relay a message to the general manager to contact me as I was very unhappy with their lack of professionalism. Today, I called and left another message. No call back after three attempts to talk to this Mr Patel. I have stayed at Hilton many times over the years. The first time since covid. The quality of the food was just sad. Cold cut meat heated up as the hot meat, fruits clearly days old. Eating in the room seemed encouraged because of covid, which is very reasonable, but no extra supplies to accommodate guests to bring all these plates and cups to their room. All I needed was a tray and they barely managed to find me a cardboard box to bring my stuff up. I have stayed at many Hilton hotels over the years and this is my first time being this devastatingly disappointed. I have even tried to avoid this terrible review by reaching out to the manager so they could make things right. But clearly, they don’t seem to care. I will never go back to this hotel.

We stayed here for 9 nights. The room was clean and adequate for 2 people to work out of. WiFi was spotty on 1 day but it happened to be our final day of work so we didn't mind too much. Much of the hotel was under COVID restrictions so didn't get to experience the gym, pool or the breakfast lounge. The worst thing about our stay here is that there was a major snowstorm in Toronto and area several days prior to our stay here and we found the parking lot around this hotel to be abysmal. Several spots were still snow covered and icy. What was puzzling about the lot was there was also a Hampton Inn and Suites sharing the same lot and we found the spaces around the Hampton Inn to be better taken care of after the storm.

Me and my bf went as a last minute stay. We booked it maybe 30mins before arrival too and they made it very easy for us to book. The room was very nice, had a tub and the king bed was very nice as well. I'd definitely visit again.

Lovely staff. They are friendly, helpful, attentive and professional. Very enjoyable stay. The rooms are a generous size and have all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Our housekeeper was very helpful and friendly and did a wonderful job of our room and kept it very well maintained. The hotel is very clean and comfortable including the fitness room and pool. We were given adequate supplies for our stay and if we needed anything, service was friendly and prompt. Very good access to highways and shops. Very much enjoyed this hotel!

Great staff. Professional and courteous. The establishment itself, however, was not what I had expected for Hilton chain, especially having had an exceptional experience at another Homewood. There is a reasonable odour of tobacco/cigarette that lingered in the hallway and which I smelt in my non-smoking room all night. The heater in my room was not working etc. The front desk manager suggested that I stay again (at my own expense), with a possible discount, in hopes that I would have a better experience. ?‍♀️. Again, besides that, the staff were friendly which awarded them a 2/5. I would, by NO MEANS; however, stay again at my expense. If I was offered a stay on the house I would need time to consider. My main feedback would kindly be to work on the cigarette order. Kind regards.

Our 2 rooms were clean and in good condition, staff was very friendly and nice. Pool was good. Be nice if was a clock in there. The hot breakfast was really nice touch. It’s simple, but a nice (and free!) was to start your day. I like how they rotate the hot items at breakfast, so it’s not just the same daily. There is usually an egg, meat and potato, that varies. They were especially great in helping us after the stay. My mom left a ring behind. They found it, and helped arrange to ship it back. (Which she has since received) Thanks!
