Within the organization is a shared sense of purpose, driven by our dedication, understanding, heart and genuine compassion for all people - we make a positive impact on the lives we touch and we support each other as we execute a common vision. I don't think of what I do at Home Instead as a 'job', rather it's an opportunity for me to give back to the community - in every client, I see my Mom, my Dad and I "get it". I get what the client and his or her family is experiencing and I'm grateful to be able to apply what I've learned and hopefully I can make someone else's day just a little bit brighter. That's what I love about what we do, because to me? It's personal.
W	WendySue Cosstick on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend Home Instead Senior Care. The staff are kind, caring and compassionate. We used their services when my Mother was living at home with me. I was overwhelmed as a caregiver and wanted to step out of the caregiving role so that I could be a daughter again, and Home Instead made that possible. They matched my Mom up with a great caregiver and they formed a friendship. The caregiver helped take some of the stress off of me and I was able to enjoy spending time with my Mom again as her daughter. The office staff were always very helpful and accommodating. I would stop by the office without an appointment and they would always have time to talk to me. They were able to make schedule changes when needed and just talk to me when I had an update to give about my Mom. My Mother passed away in October 2018, and Home Instead sent my family a lovely card and flowers. I will never forget the kindness they showed to my Mother and to me.

At a time when you are grieving and also trying to make sure your loved one is looked after Home Instead jumped in with their staff and are making this journey a happy one. Not only does my Mom have fabulous care they are always suggesting little things that calm her, stuffed animals, heating her blankets and simple shopping trips, the difference in my Mom's dementia is amazing! Thank you Thank you Thank you

We commenced with 5 days a week for 3-4 hours/day and recently increased to 7 days/week. The care providers are cheerful, approachable, warm, calm, compassionate, timely, helpful, attentive, & proficient. They complete light housekeeping tasks, prepare or plate simple breakfast & lunch meals, ensure medications are taken, assist in showering, aid with physiotherapy exercises, fulfill a wide array of tasks and embrace new duties as needs change, & also share companionship. Laura, Scheduler is extremely efficient, very personable & empathetic, puts ample effort in aligning best suited PSW's to the clients, and displays utmost timeliness to each situation that arises. She is superb at troubleshooting last minute staff requests or changes put forth by the client. We recommend Home Instead when contemplating home care for one's elders.

They prepare good meals, keep her home tidy, laundry is kept up to date and they are good companions for her. If there are any issues, Home Instead keeps us up to date and vice versa. It gives us peace of mind knowing that there is someone with her two hours every morning and afternoon.

My mom enjoys helping her Home Instead gal with her English & she, in turn, seems to be developing a nice comfortable relationship with my mom. The weekly shower & hair is going well (it's nice for mom to have the regular routine with the same person). From my first call to their office, everyone at Home Instead has been friendly, thoughtful & efficient. I would highly recommend giving them a call :)

The girls are super friendly, caring and genuinely concerned for the welfare of my Mother-in-law. I get a phone call if they are concerned about anything which I so appreciated.
